It's loud and the flashes are eye catching. Definitely works well and would make you feel so much safer just having one with you. My only complaint is the color. I had ordered the green one to gift a friend because she loves dark foresty-green, but when it arrived it was more of a light mint green. Still usable and ok, but was quite disappointed it didn't look anything like the color shown in the picture.

I thought the noise would be significantly louder. I kept it until I find something that will attract more attention. Unfortunately, people are great at blocking out noise these days and I suspect this would get a glance but not much more.

Love the idea but when we got one for my daughter we pulled the pin outside on my patio and I couldn’t hear the noise through my windows but could hear my kids laughing that it wasn’t that loud.

Women love to shop and usually they have to park in multi story garages. This Byrna Sound alarm is an excellent way for them to signal they might be in distress and alert others nearby. It is a very good deterrent.

It suits my current need for safety along with my Sabre Safe Escape 3 in 1. I am a NJ female working the graveyard shift in NYC. The subway system is not what it use to be.

Clip broke …. Lost it …

I had this for only 3 months before it started to malfunction. It now goes off if it is touched, tapped or allowed to hang on my lanyard while walking. Disappointed.

Not working the way the advertisement said it would. Very disappointed.
