This 50mm lens has a very "tight fit" in a Sony A7Rii when compared to other lenses (including a Viltrox 85mm lens which offers a more "typical" fit in this camera). A firm turn is required to fully latch the lens in place on this camera. This would be undesirable if changing lenses frequently, otherwise the unusually tight fit could be acceptable. The fit was not quite as tight on a Sony A6100, so the very tight fit might be unique to this particular lens and camera combination. When fully latched in place, all lens functions are good thus a good rating for the product.

This lens has crazy range, superb sharpness, can be used for video, portraits, lowlight shots, any landscapes, even astrophotography can be done using autofocus on Sony's full-frame system. This lens is too good for the price.

Lente muito boa, tem ótima nitidez, contrastes finos e elegantes, deixa um lindo desfoque de fundo, só peca um pouco na perca do foco continuo mas dá pra passa despercebido. Em fim por em quanto valeu a pena, vamos ver daqui a alguns meses ou anos.

Solid construction that manages to keep it lightweight, this lens is a perfect walk-around street photography lens, low-light video lens, and even a solid portrait lens. It's wide angle enough to capture a room, yet doesn't distort things so much that you have to get super close to them and can still take up-close portraits. Solid bang for the buck, and loving the feel of it so far especially when coupled with a dream/pro-mist/black-mist diffusion filter! Works fantastic on my A7iv, never had an issue with AF being slow or hunting unless I'm in extreme lowlights conditions.I would absolutely recommend this lens to any photographer out there looking for something interesting with which to experiment and do professional work.
