Alfa ToolsCSHTS70546 3/4-10 Carbon Steel Hand Tap Set Taper/Plug/Bottom

I drilled out bolts in cast iron and retapped them. I bought 3 because I figured the cast iron would dull, but I only had to use one. I used another to make sure that the threads were correct. I would definitely buy them again.

I purchased these taps to put threads in wood articles I turn (scoops, stoppers, etc.) They do a great job!

The rear end of these taps is domed, lacking the usual indentation used to align the tap into the hole. Basically useless! Will return them.

seem to be well built.. work just like they are suppose to. would buy again
