Q: How many total bags in the 2 roll pak

Each roll is one long tunnel. Sealed on the long ends of course, but not on the short. You seal one end and slice it to the length you feel you need plus a 2-3 inches for sealing then fill and seal the open end. So if you only need a six inch bag that's what you cut. My vacuum sealer has a slicing blade so that helps a lot, but a pair of scissors works just as good. There are no perforations since that would leave air hole, nor is there any lines to go by. The size is totally up to the user. I reuse my bags several times, so I've learned to cut them longer which wastes less when reusing them. Helpful hint to keep bags cleaner: Place food it in a clean recycled bag such as a bread bag or even the produce bags the store. Push the air out and fold it over, then either place in freezer bag and seal OR place in freezer on flat surface ie. cake or cookie pan to firm up a bit. Things like chili can also be frozen in a rubber maid like dish and popped into a bag when solid. When I need it, I can pull the thin bag out. The expensive heavy bag is perfectly clean (unless there was a hole in the thin bag LOL). I'm still working on my first roll and it's been a couple years of freezing. These are very good bags.

Yes, they are in a color box . Good value except the rolls are too big to fit into my seal tite . The length is perfect 11 inches but the amount of footage on the roll is too large. I had to enroll 50% to allow it to be cut properly. It’s not a big inconvenience. A great value.

Q: Can these bags be recycled?

They don't say they can. I would check with your local recycling place. Or re use them until they break or are to small to use.

They have good thickness, suitable for freezing
