Piper: Alien Surrogate Agency #1

Very enjoyable story. The characters are quite likable if a little clueless. They had feelings for one another from the beginning. As soon as Brad realized he cared for her he started to treat her as someone very special. This is where I stop before I give to much away! There is a lot of action and heart “feels” for the couple. There are sexual scenes that may offend some readers. I heartily recommend this book!

I thought the first three quarters were good then it took a strange turn. I adored the AI, Oberon, and him reading romance novels to help create romantic dates and situations. Tasha could have expanded on that but suddenly there was a strange turn to save the center which I found strange. It was a sweet speech and great that Brax heard it, but there was so much emphasis on the guy with the monocle and the woman constantly checking her horns (for a minute I thought they were fake) and then they just walk out and continue with the story that majorly speeds up. The last quarter just goes off on another tangent that totally ruined it for me and rushed the HEA. Just gonna rewrite the last quarter in my head

Piper by Tasha BlackAlien Surrogate Adoption Agency book one of the series. I really enjoyed this book because it focused on not only for the warm fuzzies but the giggles that Oberon gave me trying to find out if the romance books he loves to read can be used bring the couples together.Piper has spent every cent trying to conceive a baby on her planet but when she goes to withdraw her credits from the agency she's offered one last chance on Maltaffian with a wealthy man who also wants a baby and heir. Once she passes all the tests she's on a transport with surprise her best friend who overheard her conversation whose come with her. Brax Tressel loves his families vineyard but he needs a heir as his assistant says "Take what the Mother Stars offers you boy". So both Piper and Brax takes the leap together to see if they're compatible and perhaps destined mates. I can't wait to read Haven's story next.

I was so pleased with this story as I know all too well the heartbreaking emotions of infertility. Piper Arquette lives on Terra-58, she's tried several unsuccessful treatments to become pregnant. It's a custom for her society to achieve pregnancy before being eligible for marriage. The child to inherit the lions share of her wealth thus ensuring the wealth stays along the maternal line. When her current boyfriend dumps her another, does she wallow in pity? Yeah, for awhile, but she decides to travel n enjoy herself before accepting her date in life. But destiny has other plans for her as another option becomes available with Alien Fertility Agency to become a surrogate. They have a proven success rate with 50% of the surrogates conceiving on their own afterwards. Her client is a Maltaffian, one touch sent a wave of pleasure she felt all the way to her toes.Brax Tressel, Maltaffian, has been searching for a surrogate that meets his qualifications for over a year. He wants an heir to keep his other relatives from inheriting the vineyard his grandmother painstakingly cultivated n grew into a thriving business. He already had a rival vineyard try to trick him into a marriage proposal. Imagine his surprise when informed a Terran agreed to the terms of his contract, including the clause about signing away her parental rights. When he meets Piper their touch gives him a feeling deep in his chest he never experienced in his life. It was like gravity - rooting him- along with a deep satisfaction & longing . But that was impossible, wasn't it? No way could she be experiencing the same emotions.What a very satisfying tale the author wove. But to me the star of the story was the AI named Oberon who planned n programmed the activities for the participants in the facility run by the Agency.

What an amazing series already, and it’s only book one. Earth isn’t what it used to be and we’re not even called earthlings. Earth is old earth, and our species is spread out. Terra58 Is one of the most advanced planets with our species. And it is a matriarch society. That is what brought this planet to be more prosperous than the others that head our species on it. The problem with that is A law states a female must first be her child before she can even be in a relationship. It is done through fertility clinics, you can’t even move on to help your family without bearing a child. Piper has been through so many fertility tries and it has drained their money. She’s done trying. Then an opportunity comes up for her to bare the child of a different species, it is said that after you bare that child there’s a 95% chance you can have more children. Be a surrogate for one child, leave the child with the father and come home and start your own family. Simple right? Once Piper got there, there was a little snag, she did not plan on Brax. First meeting him, and then finding out you can only get pregnant by doing it the old-fashioned way by his species. Piper didn’t know whether to cheer or cry. I loved the story, very descriptive and the characters you fall in love with. And when the happily ever after has a baby in it you can’t get much better than that.

Piper has been trying to get pregnant. On her planet you have to have your first baby inseminated then you can get married but you can’t just have sex with the person you want to marry. The first baby has to be just for her. But with Piper it’s not happening and the guy she though loved her has left for another women. Soon she is given an opportunity to go to another planet where she is assured to get pregnant. Brax needs heir to his land so he has joined the fertility center to get a surrogate to have his baby with. But Piper has misunderstood how she is to get pregnant. Not by insemination but the old fashion way. So enjoy the read and see how it works out for them !!

Piper and Brax's story is unique in that she has been deemed infertile and he has been duped by his previous love interest. When they meet, Piper is alarmed that her conception is supposed to take place in the "natural" way rather than by insemination. Brax manages to convince her to join him in a fake relationship whilst they are at the Fertility Centre, and their relationship turns in to a love affair. It appears that once Piper conceives with a Maltaffian baby, that her body will then be fertile in the future. She has always wanted a baby and a family, but all the previous treatments have failed. Through various misunderstandings and overheard phone conversations which they both wrongly understood, the couple eventually realise that they were fated to be together and to create a family. Tasha Black has delved into the normally taboo and unwritten infertility subject extremely well and with compassion. Deserving of 5 stars and certainly recommended reading.

Tasha writes a good story, and I really enjoy her work. I think I have read all her books now and can't wait for the next to be released.I love the idea of an alien adoption/surragacy service, and the help that is shown to humans by kind aliens.

I really enjoyed this sweet story. I liked the relationship development between the 2 main characters. I'm looking forward to the next in the series. I will definitely be reading more of Tasha's work

Another new mini series by Tasha Black kicks off with Piper. The star of the show was the AI though. More human than humans. He to see more of him

Oh what a sweet love story. Loved all of it, no page skipping needed here. Really felt for Piper at the beginning and I love the ending. #instapregnancy
