It has the basic information on how to play your Psaltery, and is really easy to understand. It tells you how to hold the bow, and everything you need to know on how to restring. All in a very plain fashion. Really good information for a novice.

I love the style ...quality and the sound of this Bowed Psaltery....I have been wanting one for long time and finally bought it!

This includes a nice introduction to the bowed psaltery, basic music theory and a few songs. The print is large, which is great for those of us with older eyes. It is a bit too easy for me and I wish that there were more songs, but still, it is a well presented book for a beginner.

Anyone can play but not anyone can tune and new instrument. I had difficulty matching my new psaltery strings to the scaling as instructed in the book... found what I needed online.

This book is well laid out, with lots of information in it. It even has instructions in it for the left-handed psaltery and has some simple tunes to learn in the book. I would recommend this book to new psaltery owners.

I wanted Psaltery music to play. This was all about playing instrument. Waste of my money.
