Best Backlit Wireless Keyboard on Earth & It's Compact, Lightweight & VERY Portable!
For both general usage, portability and price, this is the best wireless backlit keyboard available, that is anywhere that I've looked, including Logitech and all the other popular keyboard manufacturers, but because it holds a charge for days AND it functions with no lag just as well as any a wired keyboard I've used--this is because of its included 2.4ghz usb dongle--and it fully functions both wirelessly and while connected to its USB connected charger. My description so far is enough, I believe, for anyone wanting these features to consider this keyboard, but there are more pros ahead and only one slight con. Most current Perixx keyboards use scissor keys (the type used in nearly all laptop computers--the type I prefer), but I believe Perixx now also sells the same 732B-style keyboard with mechanical keys too, and the keyboard has no noticeable lag within several feet of its receiver, but at greater distances (i.e., for use on a couch over 10 feet away) it's still very low-lag and still excellent! Here’s the one possible slight “con” when using this keyboard on your lap: you might want a wrist-rest. When using a any wireless keyboard on your lap an wrist-rest attached to the keyboard raises the keyboard’s keys up a few inches above your lap so your hands have extra space to reach for the keys. This is helpful if you’re a fast typist, but for on-your-lap usage most people aren’t using a keyboard to type much at all and so this keyboard is still fairly easy to use on your lap without a wrist-rest. Here’s what I made (see photo) for less than $1 to add a wrist-rest to the 732B--because sometimes I'll type for hours with this keyboard on my lap. I duck-taped a small rectangle of fiberboard to the back of the keyboard and attached a couple of plastic glass retaining clips to it—if you use strong duct-tape to attach the board to the back of the keyboard it will hold for years and also still be fairly easy to remove if so desired. I type a LOT and so I was a decades-long consumer of Logitech keyboards because of their quality & design, but for every reason I know of Perixx tops them and so Perixx has stolen me as a customer. For example, this Perixx 732B is smaller, much lighter, uses the same type of scissor-keys as Logitech and so is basically as just as durable, has the same adjustable backlighting and more, and that’s at 1/3rd the price. I almost forgot: the key caps on the 732B are sculpted too (very comfortable & improves accuracy) ...I've never actually loved a keyboard before, but this one comes close! I’m buying a second one.

Yay Perixx
Excellent mini keyboard, not plasticky, a heavy metal contruction with solid keystroke action. I had to get a small wireless keyboard so I upgraded from Perixx's wired version and am so glad I did. The battery life is excellent. I use my computer all day long and have only recharged it once after 3 weeks (I didn't have to - just thought I should). The key layout design is normal with a Prt Scr key. There is no lag in the wireless connection, and the price is RIGHT.

Good but need to turn on the light every time, touchpad anyone?
This keyboard checks almost all the boxes for me. Compact, good backlight, and RF 2.4. I am glad it isn't bluetooth as they do not work well for an HTPC. The only thing I didn't like is that I have to turn the backlight on everytime I use it, there is no memory for the settings. I don't know if the manufacturer reads these review, but what would make this perfect would be the setting retention, and even better a touch pad with a real tactile left and right click button. Currently there is no longer a keyboard on the market like this (logitech stopped making K830 which was perfect except the charging port failed/broke on all units), there a couple cheap bluetooth ones that are well bluetooth and don't last. I personally would buy 3 myself if they existed.

Finally, characters that are lit!
This is the fourth keyboard for my PC. Others took up too much desk space, squeezing my mouse movements into a small space, or they frustrated me by not having forward Delete keys, or dedicated arrow keys, or it couldn’t be used without being plugged in (I like to chat with others during movies as I lean back taking my keyboard away from my desk), or it had very poor lighting of the characters so even when ‘lit up’ I still couldn’t see where anything was. I had to hit a number key to see what it was while keeping my other hand on the Backspace button. Despite colorful backlighting underneath the keys, the keys themselves did not have enough light. SO … FINALLY! I’m so happy to get exactly what I’ve been searching for: Small size leaving lots of mouse movement room, number keys separate from F keys, Del and Backspace both, Arrow keys in their own little spot, and large characters that really light up so you can see them in total dark - without being blinded by light from under the keys. Watch the video, where I bring in my other colorful ‘lit’ keyboard, which is even harder to use in real life without the camera’s help. This Perixx Periboard 732 (or 732B, I’m not sure) is perfect for me! The keys are quiet and have a definite tactile click-feel but without the loud clacky clacky sound. It sits up a little in the back, for better look and usefulness. As for lights timing out: (1) Unplugged, not using it, they went out after 36 seconds. (2) Unplugged, using it every 5 or 10 seconds, the light stayed on past two minutes when I figured it would stay lit as long as I was using it. (3) Plugged into the recharge cable, not using it, they went out after 36 seconds, same as when unplugged. Probably a good feature, to turn it off if you haven’t needed it for that long. Even after the light goes out, the characters are so large and so white I can see them even in very little light. I figure plugged in and using it every 30 seconds or so they would stay on forever. … I’m loving the size and extra keys and lights where they should be. It arrived in only 2 days, and that was during holiday rush (ordered Dec. 22, arrived Dec. 24) So far there is no downside to this unit. Maybe some people prefer patterned rainbow colors coming out from under the keys, but though it’s pretty, it didn’t work in low light. Believe me, it’s what you’re looking for.

Massive failure after 3 months
Bought in 11/25 and worked well but now several keys have failed. And today won't pair. Massive failure. Will go back to Logitec.

Compact with good key action
I wanted a rechargeable unit with backlit keys and this looked like a good choice. After a couple days of use, I like the key action. It is nicely compact for desktop or travel, as well as for smaller hands. For windows users, the "Win" key is actually labeled "Start". It has both caps lock and function key lock including small lights to show when they are enabled. The key lighting is just the right brightness in my opinion. Subtle with no glare. The labels on the keys are large, and it is easy to read the symbols over the numbers. So far so good. It has "CE" and "FC" cert marks on the bottom so the electronics and batteries should be safe.

⌨️ No Bluetooth... but still an excellent wireless backlit mini keyboard! ⌨️
I was initially going to reduce my rating because of how long it takes to recharge this keyboard (the wireless backlit version). Because while it has a battery with a capacity of 800mAh and can last for about 7 days on one charge, it takes about SIX HOURS to recharge it, at a rate of 5V --- 500mA. Which is the same as 5V --- 0.5A. And both of which would be 2.5 watts. However, even though it's not that easy to find, all of that information IS available for potential customers to see BEFORE they order this keyboard. So since I was able to know that it takes six hours to charge before I ordered it, I would be wrong to reduce my rating because I didn't like that it takes six hours to charge, right? Anyway, I've been using a Logitech MX Keys Mini wireless backlit keyboard for over three years now, and it still works pretty good but I have broken a couple of the keys. So I wanted to try something different this time that didn't cost a hundred dollars. And I have to say, I am definitely impressed with the Perixx PERIBOARD-732B wireless backlit mini keyboard. Except for one MAJOR downside... And again, I didn't reduce my rating for it because I was able to know about it before I ordered this keyboard. But anyway, I can only really use it on my PC or whatever the USB dongle is plugged into... With the MX Keys Mini though, since it has Bluetooth capabilities, I can use it on my PC and quickly switch to and use it on my cell phone when I need to. So if that's something that is important to you, then I wouldn't recommend this wireless backlit mini keyboard by Perixx. However, if you just want something to use with your computer that's wireless and backlit, that doesn't cost a hundred dollars, then you'd be hard pressed to find anything better than this keyboard. Oh, and one more thing. To the makers of the PERIBOARD-732B, please make a wireless backlit mini keyboard like this one that not only has a USB adapter for hooking it up to a PC, but that also has Bluetooth capability and can easily connect to three different devices on the fly. And this is because, after about a year of using the MX Keys mini, the Bluetooth on my PC stopped working, yet I was able to get a USB adapter separately and still use it on my computer while being able to easily use it on my cell phone. Of course, I would expect it to cost a little more than this one, but I would gladly pay more. Especially if it still costed less than Logitech's hundred dollar wireless backlit mini keyboard.

Lighted keys are great. But Cap Lock light is always on.
Loved the lighted keys. Good range on transmitter. Had a issue after a few days but all is good now. I use two other Perixx lighted corded keyboards and those are great. This addition of the wireless light keyboard great for travel and my media center use. Cap Lock is lighted 100% of time when keys are being used but gets brighter when Cap Lock is turned on. Makes it PITA when transcribing and not watching the monitor screen. You can not just do a quick glance at the keyboard to check if Cap Lock is on or not, it is always lit. Rechargeable battery last about two years, no screws to take apart keyboard to replace battery

Not Bluetooth it's USB
This is a USB keyboard. Great quality but misleading in the word 'wireless' makes it look like Bluetooth.
