Lots of folks mentioned that it didn't fit with a case on the phone. I have a slim case on my iphone 8+, so I was prepared for it either not to fit or to fit tightly. Well, it fit fine front to back but it was a wee bit too small left to right. So out came the Dremel tool and with a couple of passes with a grinding wheel, took a smidgen off the sides & it now fits perfectly. I tried it out with a few youtube movies and the sound came out loud & clear. I'm happy as a pig in you know what.

I loved the design of this -- very sleek and attractive, but it was just too narrow for my phone and its case. I ended up going with another brand that had something similar in larger sizes.

Love It! Sits nicely on my desk at work. Eco's sound great, almost like having a small speaker. Sturdy and smooth, versatile. I'll probably order a few for gifts as well as a second one for myself for home use.

I liked that this stand was made of bamboo. The design is simple and clean. However, there is just one issue that really isn't an issue but is to me, there could be one or two less slots in the backing resulting in an even cleaner design. For instance, there is a slot for the stand leg (I guess you could call it that) when standing your phone vertically on both the top and bottom when you only need one slot for the bottom. Same goes for the horizontal position. It could be that the designer wanted things to look even by having slots in both places to make the slots look equal? Or they thought their customer to be too lazy to turn the stand to the appropriate position so they created an extra slot in both positions..haha. Anyways, I digress. In the end I like this minimalistic appearance and the fact that it's made of bamboo which grows in abundance.

I got this because I used to have one of the plastic ear-trumpet style amplifiersfor my older smaller iPhone5, and it worked well so I thought I would try this.Got it and it is so useful. If I am talking with someone on FaceTime or makinga video, or audio the horizontal slot is the one to use, and it is really handy.Then, if I am listening to something in bed or on my desk, the amplified sideis perfect. The really focuses and directs the sound to you when sometimesyou might not be able to hear.For example, if I am in the bathroom and the fan is going, I often cannothear the phone easily, or if I have the fan on because it is hot to save on energyinstead of the A/C this is perfect.I just wish they had a way to smooth the inside acoustic funnel which is abit weird ... but hey, it works.This worked so well I decided to get two of them. Very handy, I recommend. 5/5
