Court of Ice and Ash: The Broken Kingdoms, Book 2

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️After reading the first book, I was intrigued enough to continue with the rest of the series. As a disclaimer to anyone who may read this series, I will say it gets progressively better as it goes along. The first book, while interesting, was fairly predictable in the events that happened. As the series progresses, more world-building occurs which leads to the characters having more personality and depth.This series has a pretty fair balance of romance and fantasy elements that would appeal to anyone who is a fan of either. As the story progresses, the events are less predictable and the third book ends with some surprise twists.The books are fairly short (300-350 pages) and are a pretty quick read. This would be a good series for anyone newer to fantasy books, as it is (in my opinion) less complex to follow than a lot of others.My only complaint is that things ended “too perfectly”; without spoiling it, I cannot say more.

This started out a little slow for me but the more I read, I got more into Elise and Valen. A curse and hope intertwined at its best!! A love story that makes you say seriously?? WTF? And oooo I want to smack them lol. A wonderful read and can't wait to read the next part of their story

A Court of Ice and Ash by L.J Andrews“You did not find him, Jarl Magnus. He found you.”~~~~ I freaking love this series. The FMC and MC are the ranking in my top 5 for indie couples. And the MC is daddy. Like I will never get enough of him, nor do I think I want too. This series is Cinderella meets Vikings, but better. Also as we speak I am buying the physical copies or have them saved in my Amazon WL. I seriously recommend ya’ll put this on your TBR list, cause Andrews is a great writer and this series, so far, is keeping me up at night. I just can’t put it down. Andrews, I’mma need a sticker for the MC soon or I’ll make one or something with him. Cause again, yes please. Everyone needs to know of this man

Books two! I devoured this book as well. The broken kingdoms are a beautifully dark and wonderful story. Valen and Elise are a perfect combination!

I read this book because I saw a review of someone who said they thought it was a good book to read if looking for something similar to ACOTAR series. It was okay; the story intrigued me enough to order the next book but after the 2nd book I felt like I had enough.

I really enjoyed the book, it was a quick read but the spelling errors and wrong words bother me. There were several.
