Can you bake pie crust with no filling in this?

This mini-pie maker will not cook the interior of the crust, leaving it doughy. Instead, you should get a waffle bowl maker, which cooks the interior as well as the exterior. Instead of using waffle mix, you'd put in a layer of dough. Or use my little secret: Microwave a piece of white bread for about 10 secs until it's moist and very flexible. Then use that as your sheet of dough. Because bread is already cooked, the crust is done in about 2-3 minutes (since it's just toasting). Because of the pressure from the mold, it will look and taste nothing like toast once it's done. It tastes like a real crust. I have this model because it's the cheapest.
