Great for administering liquid medications
My neighbour is a first-time cat Mum to an 8-month-old brother-sister pair of adolescent kittens, and takes her responsiblity *very* seriously. I was babysitting the boy a few days ago while she took his ailing sister to the vet, and she came home almost in tears. She has to give both of them liquid antibiotics for a week because the girl had a parasitic infection. I've lived with cats my whole life and she's been coming to me for advice and help. I knew from experience she wouldn't be able to dose two squirmy, stroppy feline teenagers by herself, so I said I'd assist. The first dose was a struggle, albeit successful eventually, but traumatic for kittens and their owner alike. I came home and ordered this restraint bag on Amazon and requested same day delivery. It arrived 10 minutes before I was due to return for their second dose of the day, and the bag made such a difference! They're not happy about being put into it, one after the other, and it does take two of us, my neighbour keeping the kitten and all its four paws inside (we zipped the leg openings closed) and me zipping up the back closure and securing the neck band. Then she holds the bagged cat in her lap and it only takes me seconds to shoot the vile-tasting medicine down the victim's throat. This way I become the villain rather than their Mum. We only have two more days to go and have become quite efficient with practice. The kittens are resigned to their fate as soon as they see me come in the door, although the timid boy mews sadly while his more assertive sister gives me the stink-eye. However, the humans haven't been scratched since the first pre-bag struggle and they've had all their medicine. My neighbour now plans to use it to trim their claws. I just wish it came in an XL size that might fit my giant Maine Coon if he ever needed a restraint. He's pretty mellow, but there's only so much a self-respecting cat will tolerate.

Fabulous way of getting to cut a cat’s nails.
Loved it. It was so much easier to cut my cat’s nails. She remained calm instead of struggling like I thought she would. Good value and worth the money. Also it is sturdy and strong and won’t easily brake. I think it will last a long time.

Product Arrived as Described. Cat Uncooperative...
Cat straight jacket arrived as described... looks like a good product. -1 star for lack of instructions on how to get the cat in the bag without bloodshed... Picture is of cats not in bag...

Great idea but
I thought this was a good idea but our cat, adopted from the shelter as past stray, was smart enough to pull his feet inside the bag. But still somewhat helpful for back feet.

Surprisingly practical
Once your cat realizes they cannot walk away with only their front paws out, they quickly settle and will allow you to clip their claws. I was even impressed when Matca, my young cat allowed me to stroke her head while holding her in my lap. Generally, Matcha would never stay for more than 10 seconds and want to be let down. I would even consider this as a good means of transport for the veterinary office.
