Dagnabit, I wrote a long review, and then... the power went off. So, my near-perfect review is gone! Here's my abbreviated version. I am a lefty and have a kinesthetic weakness (a type of dyslexia in the fine motor control needed for penmanship). Throughout elementary school, I ALWAYS received a "needs to improve" in penmanship. It was only when I entered junior high and started taking keyboarding classes that my grades changed. That was good, but there are still a lot of times I need/want to write. A friend suggested I use a pen that has "a good glide" to it. So, I went to Amazon to see what they had to offer. I saw the reviews for Pentel Energel and thought I'd "give them a go". Great call on my part. These pens are amazing! The flow, ease of movement, and an array of colors were more than I expected. I hope other people who have a weakness as I do, will give these pens "a go". If anyone reading this has a kinesthetic weakness or knows of someone who does, do them a favor and tell them about these pens. No, I am not affiliated with Amazon. I am simply an old teacher who worked with dyslexic kids and now have a granddaughter who has the same. I hope her teachers, she's going into third grade, will allow her to use these pens. They glide well (easier than graphite pencils and will offer her a better opportunity to write neater.

Very smooth writing. Ink flow is immaculate and rarely skips. I personally like a larger pen tip as I feel it writes smooth, and this does not disappoint. I’ve been through SO many pens looking for good, consistent ink flow, and this is what I need in my life. Write a lot for work. Had these for a couple months now and still love them. It’s not perfect, as I feel the writing could be smoother, and ink flow could be a SMIDGE heavier, but overall 8.5/10 pen. I should do pen reviews

Amazing pens for the price. Write extremely smooth and perfect ink flow. Kinda of a cheep feeling pen which I would gladly pay more for if that was improved. The only reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is because of the button on top used to push the pen tip out. It’s very lose on the pens and jiggles around making a noise while you write or move the pen around. With this being said, these will be my go too pens from now on.

I absolutely love these pens (literally will only be getting energel from now on). There is SO much ink and apparently they're still refillable. It feels very nice in my hand and the grip is great. The fine tip that pokes out makes it easy to write with precision and with tiny letters. I honestly just wanted a purple pen and I got a nice color variety. CONS: One thing I will mention is the sheer amount of ink. If you store them tip side down, when you use it again, more ink than you intended may seep out. It's not like, an overwhelming amount, and the pen is still excellent for the price.

Best pens ever. Pentel Energel are the only pens I buy and they have yet to let me down. So smooth!! The only problem is the amount of times people try and steal them from me.

True left handed here, bought them because it came up in search for lefties. Wow, they supased my expectation. The smoothest pens I've ever used! Dries super fast too. Best pen ever!
