This block works great. The block looks just like the pic. The black insert works great. It holds knives in place and they easily slide in. Would definitely recommend!

Sturdy and well constructed. Fits all your standard knives that isn't a cleaver. Enough room for a single knife set suitable for a small kitchen chef. Unlike other similar knife blocks, the hard plastic slots are glued to the bamboo and cannot be removed. There's two circular holes on the bottom to ensure drainage but you cannot clean the interior should you ever need to. Either way it's bamboo so it's not like would want to wash it anyway. Make sure your knives are always clean and wiped down before storing them to avoid the mold and a mess.

The footprint is not too large, but it holds quite a few knives and scissors and a sharpening rod. It’s 2 tiers so the knives stay in place and the slots are not defined so the he knives can be placed where they are convenient

This is perfect for people that have smaller kitchens or that don't have a lot of counter space. It works for any size knife, it's a great if you have random knives laying around that don't come with a holder. It can be a little hard to clean, but I use a paper towel to wipe in-between the slits.

Great knife block - holds a large number of different sized knives. Easy to clean. Nice sleek look and doesn't take up much space.

Was a gift, it looks amazing, they were very happy with it and have filled up the block (it fits a lot of knives)! Good value too

Love this knife block.I bought it to shove all my knives in, instead of keeping them in my drawer because my toddler likes to grab spoons and forks herself, to use for meals and I didn't want her to grab sharp knives.It fits all my knives and has a spot I put scissors in. I would like to see the scissors part a bit bigger though. Because it doesn't fit my scissors snuggly in there.Would highly recommend to anyone but especially to parents of small kids to use instead of using a childlock on the drawer. :)
