Isabella: Book III of the Chantelle Rose Series

I have grown to love all the characters in this series and it was heart warming to see their stories tying up so beautifully. Chantelle continues to remain a personal favorite as she is totally endearing and Isabella is a complete surprise package. Isabella and Chantelle are the two primary characters and the way their stories are intertwined not only in the plot but also in terms of emotions and descriptions, is something that makes this a thoroughly enjoyable read.Once again, though it is a part of a series the book as a stand alone has its own merit and makes a gripping read. I wouldn't blame you, however, if after reading this you feel like reading the previous works.This book is a perfectly woven emotional roller coaster ride till the last page with ample twists and turns which make you feel WOW at a lot of places because they are totally unexpected. I love how the narrative has humor mixed with liberal doses of romance with suspense and drama layered in an exemplary fashion.

I couldn’t put this book down. All the books in this Chantelle Rose series are so exciting.It was amazing to go on a journey through the lives of Chantelle’s past generations and experience the twists and turns which happened, leading to Chantelle being born in London.A riveting story, mixed with mystery, sadness and joy! Also a good mix of humour which this wonderful author always adds so well.I am hoping there will be a fourth book in this series. It would be wonderful to hear what happens next in Chantelle Rose’s life.

So much wisdom and humour contained within these pages. I especially adored the final few chapters where everything was drawn together and all questions answered. It was beautiful. Sigh!

There was mystery, humor, and of course, romance to make the reader fall for each of the characters. I loved the way the family mystery is intertwined throughout the books. Reading more than one love story within a book isn't easy to do, but Ms. Hodgson did it expertly. Looking forward to reading more from this author very soon.
