Unputdownable
Mark Dawson at his best, amazing story, as I said, it's unputdownable. Milton, Roses, Pope and Maia. Hoping Milton makes an appearance

Book 3 in a 4-book series
As other reviewers have stated – you should read the “Beatrix Rose” books before you start on this 4-book “Isabella Rose” series. Thus, you get the necessary background to these action-packed thrillers by Mark Dawson. As I said, there are 4 relatively short books in this series and you really need to treat them as a single novel or you will be left rather disappointed as each part ends without a conclusion. Alas, this is becoming a common but disappointing practice among Kindle book publishers. Pope, our co-star, is a government security specialist who tries to unravel apparent conspiracy and deceit by senior people in government. He faces one impossible situation after another as even his closest family get embroiled in the affairs. Isabella Rose proves to be a surprisingly able accomplice - a girl with an intriguing upbringing. The series is well worth the read. I just find having to buy 4 books for 1 story a tad disappointing. Hence, the 4-star rating.

Fast paced, all action page turner
I had thought that a story ostensibly about a 15 year old daughter of a group 15 assassin would be a bit light weight in comparison to the John Milton series. However, the joining forces of her with former Group 15 control, captain Michael Pope, gives the story credibility. With the secret genetics lab building super human soldiers this is a blend of science fiction and thriller. With the story leaping from India to China to Russia to the US, it’s a page turning thriller which turns Isabella in to a credible character. Well written as usual by Mark Dawson. Already looking forward to the next story.

Nearly but not quite.
Whilst still a very good read I didn't quite get the same buzz as in the previous 2 episodes.Too many locations which made it feel a little like a geography lesson and in truth didn't really add to the storyline. There were many exciting encounters which like the majority of Mark's recent publications made for good reading and a genuine desire to turn the page, however I felt the continuity from the previous episodes was not quite as believable as is normally the case,i.e the terrorist bomb at the airport didn't really fit with the rest of the story unlike the London bombing from Book 2 which was so real and so graphically portrayed.Pope's escape at the end and being reunited with his family could have been developed over many more pages......however who knows what Mark has in store for us in Book 4.Just hope he doesn't feel the need to rush the publication and deny us a true 5 star follow on in what is overall a really enjoyable series of adventures.

Best of the bunch
The Isabella Rose books are brilliantly plotted. They are engaging, page turning, what-happens-next thrillers. Meticulously researched, frighteningly credible, they create an all-too-believable world where treachery is second nature - if not first - populated by self-seeking manipulators, contemptuous of the the public and interested only in how they can be used for profit. This is the best Mark Dawson series I've read. Thoroughly recommended.

high octane, don’t read unless you like page-turners
This series is thrilling, It’s not my usual cup of tea, I like science fiction because it has to put so much effort to be plausible, but I must say, Pope is a kind of grubby and married James Bond, and I don’t mean to demean him, Pope is unique enough… Isabella Rose is astonishingly experienced the self preservation techniques for a 15yr old but as stressed often enough in the series, her schooling has been anything but normal, and well this book indicates, something else about Isabella, but read from the start, it’s none stop for me, I’m going to regret ending the series that’s for sure.
