William is a many times removed uncle in my family. I had never heard of him or his life history. I was amazed by the details of his life. I found the story his life remarkable. I wished I had been able to met my uncle in real life. The book is a good read, hard to put down and informative of a time in our country's history. No matter who reads William, they will enjoy the story.
