Perfect for learning in short bursts
I really love the range of exercises in the book - you can practice idiomatic expressions, focus on grammar and use vocabulary to describe a photo. I am at level A2 with Italian and I feel like the book has been very user friendly and accessible.

Good little book
Love the idea and the fact that there are solutions provided. My only difficulty is where there are no specific answers, e.g. when the user has to make their own sentences, as there is no way of checking whether the grammar in the sentence is correct. (Other man using an online translation, which are not always correct). Am enjoying having the reading/grammar exercises though.

Perfetto
Purchased for my wife as she follows Coffee Break Italian podcasts. She finds the timed sessions very useful for her Italian studies. The book is excellent for refreshing grammar and provides useful idiomatic phrases too.

Not suitable for learning a new language
.I was disappointed with this book. The premise was great but unfortunately the write up led me to believe that this was a beginner book. The first exercise was great but after that I was lost as I did not know any Italian to understand the activities. The second 5 minute exercise would have been ok to do had it not said that the answers were to be conjugated to the simple present tense according to the subject. After being lost on the 5 minute exercises I did not even try the longer ones.

Fun, easy, and helpful
I purchased this book last October, when I was only six months into learning Italian, and I had to put it aside, but now fast forward I’ve started to use it and it is brilliant. The activities are short and engaging and fun and it’s rewarding to see that I’ve learned some things and can figure other things out. If I make a mistake, there are helpful explanations. I love that you have a choice of five, 10 or 15 minute activities with my busy schedule. And I wish there was a part two!

Perfect for practicing Italian every day
Italian language classes are not available to me over the summer months this is an excellent way to keep working on learning Italian until my next course. Coffee Break Italian has a podcast and website that I have followed for years and this is a great companion book as it includes a list of where to find specific language and grammar points in the Coffee Break Italian lessons. This is not an ideal language learning book for beginners but it is a great way to gain additional practice to read, write and review. I bought two books (one for home, one for work) as well as the Kindle version so that I can practice whenever I have a few spare moments.

Make this book linked online asap
Great set of exercises in Italian but - the exercise photos are black and white and pretty poor quality. If you had a link to a photo site the exercise would be more satisfying. Please write more of these books …

Extremely helpful and to the point
This is a great little book. I love the sections and how I can do whatever I want based on how much free time I have on my hands. I like having to interact with the book, which helps reinforce what im trying to learn.
