We put this in our guest room and it really sets a nice ambience. It gives enough light in the room without being too bright. I also appreciate that it is round since we have a lot of angular furniture, it adds a different feel. There is a switch on the chord to turn it on and off, but I have it connected to the outlet that connects to the light switch so it is our main source of lighting in that room. I actually discovered it after staying at my friend's house - she had the light by the bed and it made for a nice reading light with a chic look. Highly recommend!

These globe accent lights were just what my dark living room needed. They have a high quality etched (not glossy) glass globe that diffuses the light evenly and a great wooden base with felt bottom to give them stability and character. The regular medium base light socket allows for a choice of light bulb type, incandescent, halogen, or LED. I used a pair of old 40W incandescent Sylvania daylight bulbs (from my fridge actually, replaced with cold LEDs instead :) and put them on a dimmer to be able to adjust the light from dark to a bright enough glow to illuminate the room, but not blind the people looking at them. I put the lights on top of my black tower speakers, that way the lamps' power cord hides behind them out of the way and almost invisible. Two suggestions. Perhaps consider a version with a white cord, and one with a dark wood base to match various locations and decors. Also one of mine had the black cord rub against the white globe during shipping leaving dark marks. A swab of alcohol quickly cleaned it up, perhaps Lightaccents can consider wrapping the cord separately or away from the globe.

I was surprised by how well made this piece was. I am going to return because it doesn’t match my aesthetic, but it’s a quality piece and has the right balance of very soft but bright lighting. Easy to assemble although it is slightly jarring of a sound when removing the top from the bottom to install the light bulb.

These are cute & very bright. Hard to get the cube on the base, though. Also, too short for smart bulbs. Good quality, though & the bulb it comes with is good quality.

Minimalist but effective and attractive light source when you need something for a little space.

Bought this lamp, right? Gorgeous. Lights up my life, aesthetically speaking. BUT the genius who designed it put the on/off switch in Narnia. It's hiding BEHIND my console table. So now I gotta wrestle with furniture every time I want some light. 9/10 would recommend... if you enjoy daily yoga with your appliances. Shame I sometimes just leave it off.
