Great bags. They were recommended for my counter top compost bin. They rarely tear and keep the bin and counters tidy. Fit securely and stay in position. I will keep purchasing this item.

We love using these bags in our countertop composting bin. I used to purchase these at a store, but I saw that Amazon had these on their Subscribe and Save list. I order these every other month. It's so convenient and the bag is a good size to hold 3-4 days of composting for our family of 6. Please keep these on the SAS listing!

I purchased these for cat litter disposal. Somewhat flimsy but the size is great. Works well with the litter scoop I have. Much cleaner to use than the small ones used for dogs. And they are compostable.

We have a "composting" initiative here (apt. complex). These bags are handy to use to collect food scraps to take down to the compost bin. After several boxes of them … never had one break or burst on me.

Let's just say my floors are really clean since I started using these bags. That's because the bottom seams have burst more times than I want to count, leaving me to clean the contents of the bag off the floor. These bags are fine for light duty I guess. We take compost out every day or every other day. I ripped several of these just getting them off the roll. Others ripped at all the folds as I tried to open them to get them in the bucket, but my least favorite defect has to be the bottom seam. There was still plenty space at the top of the bag each time, but I guess the weight or liquid nature of whatever food was in there was more than these bags could handle. I've used larger compost bags for a longer time and stuffed more into them than I have with these, so I don't feel like I'm asking too much of a bag. Considering these are also some of the more expensive bags out there, I definitely won't be wasting my money again. This photo is the least messy compost I've had to clean up.

I have used this company for bags and their bags for at least the last 10 years and have never had an issue. An occasional tear here and there and likely because the bin was stuffed.However, the last role I have had, every bag tears open! I can’t even start a new bag without the other ripping off. The second I open it, the whole bag rips. Somehow the next bag I can open, but when I put it in the bin, it tears.I thought maybe it was just this roll, since I never had this issue before. I opened a new role and the same thing happened!

Even though the delivery was made on a huge envelope -_- this is a great product. Resistant and good smell.

I had not realized when I purchased these but they are not back yard compost approved which means they probably won't break down in the next year. That's disappointing but I guess I can bury the bags under the compost in my garden and maybe they will break down eventually. My own fault for not reading the full description

I have been using these bags for years and have found them quite reliable but the ones I received from Amazon were garbage. Half of them ripped - as you were trying to tear along the perforation between the bags, rendering them completely useless. This image shows one of the flimsy Amazon-purchased bags (left) next to one I purchased from a store. Don’t know if these boxes were sitting around too long or it was just poor quality control but I won’t buy them from Amazon again.
