I've loved this author's other books but this was so not in the same class. Very disappointing. It didn't even read as if it was written by same author of the Duke, Prince and King books. Too many OTT sex scenes, during which Matt seems to have a total change in character that didn't seem to fit with his usual personality. And Lana was just annoying. I hate when lead females in books make silly irrational decisions. I will never understand why authors do this to their characters, it only makes them unlikeable and lends for a less enjoyable read and personally makes me hesitant of buying future books. Making silly decisions does not make a character "strong" or add angst to a story, it just makes them immature and annoying. I have struggled to make it to 72% but at this stage Lana is being so annoying I just can't read anymore. DNF. I will try future books by this author and in the hope they are more like her previous books.

A great read!
I absolutely adored Matt and Lana's story. Yet another great book from Louise Bay, which had a wonderful feel to it throughout.I did feel that there was a certain familiarity to this storyline, but Louise Bay does a great job of adding her own twist and spin on the overall story. That plus the amazing chemistry that is created between the characters, you can't help but be swept away into the world of this story.I liked both characters in the story. Lana is a small-town girl, opting to stay out the limelight of the big cities, due to past events. Therefore she is happy in her cottage by the sea in Worthington, running her jewellery shop. Matt on the other hand is the world famous Hollywood actor. Limelight and him go hand in hand!! Matt was a great character - I liked his kindness and the fun side to him!The secondary characters in this book were great, and although didn't play a huge role, added a great dimension with Mrs Wells and Mr Butcher!Another great read from Louise Bay. A go-to author who has never failed me!!

A poor woman’s Tina Reber
I am usually a massive Louise Bay fan but this was by far my least favourite of her books. In particular it felt rushed and not detailed enough. Worst of all, it has too many similarities to Tina Reber’s Love unscripted/unrehearsed series, which in my opinion is a much better story! Once I had spotted the clear resemblance between the two stories I found it hard to be invested in this book and instead just kept spotting more and more similarities, especially in the ending. It’s such a shame as Louise Bay is talented in her own right and as I say, I love her other work.

Really enjoyed this book
**** Audio book review ***This has been on my kindle since release day so I decided to add the audio narration as I’m having a binge on audios ATM. Hollywood Scandal is a hot romance featuring Matt Easton a Hollywood heart throb and Lana Kelly a small town shop owner we watch them fall in love between Maine and LA and within the glare of the public eye. Once again this is a really enjoyable romance from Louise - recommend for a girl next door romance

AMAZING AS ALWAYS
Louise Bay, you've done it again, seriously I've read every book you've written and they are all absolutely amazing! In every way possible, storyline, characters, beginning, middle and end, I always get hooked from page 1, doesn't take me long to read your books because they are so addictive, always fall in love with the characters, I love the strong women and strong men, love how they work so much better together than apart, I would always recommend your books to friends, family and those who love to read.
