Perfect Touch for My Black and Gold Party!
These gold-wrapped buttermints were exactly what I needed to complete the look (and flavor!) for my black and gold themed party. The shiny gold foil looked so elegant on the tables, and the mints themselves were soft, creamy, and absolutely melted in your mouth, just like the classic "wedding mints" everyone loves. With about 100 individually wrapped mints in each 13oz bag, there was plenty to go around for guests, candy dishes, and little favor bags. I bought these for a gold-themed party. The shiny gold wrappers are very attractive and some were hard to open as they dont tear well. The mints are fairly uniform in size and shape, fresh, and just the right texture. They dont melt away like a party mint, but are pleasant to chew. I think the peppermint flavor overwhelms the buttery flavor. They are not as strong, nor as sweet as lifesavers or candy canes. They really are a good value and look so pretty in a bowl or scattered across a dessert table. People seemed to like them. I like that they are individually wrapped so you can throw them in a purse or pocket. They are a good value. Yes I would probably buy them again.
