Recently moved into a house with a wood stove and needed a hatchet to split kindling. I picked this because it was priced low and I didn't want to spend too much. I was so impressed with it. It is sharp and of good weight, the guard and cover are great accessories as well. I use it very often and it does it's job great! I love the size of it, it is easy to use. So useful, and seems like it will last for a while!

Great tool

I bought this to keep in my backpack while hiking, It has a really nice rubberized grip and it feels really solid. This is the perfect tool to carry in the woods or to keep in your vehicle.

It was a bit dull but worked fine when sharpened. I primarily only use it to trim logs into kindling.

Just got it. Chipped up some kindling. It was quite sharp out of the box, but needs to be honed. 3 stars for lightweight because it's not supposed to be lightweight. It's a little on the heavy side which is what I want. It's got enough weight so I can drop it and it sticks, then lift and drop to complete the cut. Good backside for pounding like a hammer for tent stakes and the like. Handle is rubbery, and has good grip. it's a little rough on the hands so I don't think I would want to cut a tree down, but if I wanted to do that I would have bought an Ax. Light work which is what a hatchet is for is fine. Nice to have a sheath included, and fits nicely. It also came with the little silicone blade cover, Overall it's 5 stars for an inexpensive Ax.

I bought this hatchet as my first ever ax/text Jit and I am very impressed on how it came. The head of the ax was very made well forged. Good, the handle has a nice grip and its length is perfect. It is good for chopping down wood in some branches and if wanted ax throwing. After you give a good sharpening, it's very good at what it's supposed to do and if I could, I would definitely buy another one so if you're looking for a starting ax or just a hatchet. In general, I would definitely buy this one. It's not that heavy too. And the casing it comes with is made very sturdy and good. And it's a nice tight fit.

I can finally cut wood for kindling! This worked great and brought up a lot of great memories of camping as a kid. Very durable and love the head cover. Highly recommended!

I was looking for a small hatchet for backpacking / camping purposes and found this cost effective option. The product was packaged securely and is extremely sharp when it arrived. The balance and weight of the hatchet combined with the rubberized coating on the handle makes this an awesome purchase! One thing that might have gotten lost in translation - dudu... Maybe dodo? Either way, the name may be funny but the product is serious!

I just received my axe vary impressed it has good weight, let the axe do the work,really sharp could possibly shave with it,I recommend it.

Great little hatchet. I wish it was sharper out of the package though, it was a bit dull when I used it the first time and I hadn’t thought to check before we went camping. Oh well, still got the job done pretty well. The grip was pretty comfortable and I like the little case that comes with it to go over the head, my last one only had a little plastic cover for the edge of the blade.

I was not expecting the best at the price I paid. There is a limite to how bad something can be made. The axe head is off center, notch in the metal, sharpening is uneven that suggests the angle is uneven. When looking at it from the top the wedge is actually off. It is curved to the right. I did not even want to try it out. It’s not safe and can’t predict how the head will react. I’ve owned 20$ hatchets with a better axe head. The handle seems good, since I didn’t swing the axe I can’t say if it is comfortable for the grip and impact. I’m disappointed in the build quality. I returned it the next day not even wanting to risk using it.
