Deception and fun
How good do your children lie? This game gives you a look into their souls and an edge in real life. The pieces are quality and the game is enjoyable for most ages. Our 6 year old is able to play as well as the adults…maybe even better since he seems so trustworthy.

Fun, Fresh Idea Of A Game
My siblings love this. It makes it fun to play Russian roulette and try to guess who's lying and who's not. If you're right about accusing someone of lying to get contraband through the market, they pay you money. If you're wrong, you pay them money. Whoever has the most money, contraband, and goods at the end wins, so you've gotta pull a good poker face

Very fun bluffing game
This game is very fun and I can see my family and I having hours upon hours of fun. Quality wise the game is well done, each card has a silky feel and easily slides when on top of others. The game even supplies it’s own trays for you to have your currency and decks to draw from out and around other players. However, the bags in which the games supplies is.. overall not terrific. It does what it needs to but the material that it’s made out of, you can easily tell that within a handful of games, the bags will start tearing. Specifically around the button that the bag presents. The button is a hard plastic button that if not careful, can tear the pouch as the button has quite some resistance to opening. Suggestion: don’t use the button, don’t secure the bags closed. Or find an alternative. Gameplay wise, personally I feel that the art is much more downgraded than the older edition. But everything is very much doable. This 2nd edition supplies more than the first one with extra rules and knickknacks that keep the fun alive. With black market cards and ways for there to be two sheriff’s, and more challenging ways to alter the game.

Take Family Game Night to the next level with Sheriff of Nottingham!
What is particularly great about this game is it is easy to learn and is great fun for most ages to play. I would say from 9-11 years old and upwards. Sheriff of Nottingham is like a game of bluff. It is a super fun board game where you pretend to be sneaky merchants in a medieval town (as silly as it might sound the more to lean into the role play side of the game the more rewarding the gameplay is). Each player takes turns being the Sheriff, who checks what's in other players' bags. The twist is that you can put any goods you want in your bag, and you can even sneak in some illegal goods, like contraband! You have to be clever and try to bluff the Sheriff so they don't catch you. If the Sheriff believes your story, you make money. But if they catch you with illegal contraband, you pay fines. It's all about tricking and outsmarting each other to become the richest merchant in Nottingham! My friends and family of all ages have played this and it's definitely a step up from classics like Monopoly, Risk and other classics. The only rule we don't follow from the game how we decide who goes first, we think it's a poor rule and usually decide to just roll a die for highroll being first. Trust me this game is a great value with ton's of replayability for only $20-$30 dollars.

Good Party Game With Lots of Laughter
I've played this a few times with different game groups, and though I expected more out of this game, I find my game groups having a blast. Hence, I bumped my rating up based on the overall group experience. Every session was filled with laughter which is a huge plus point. It's also not a complex game and requires little to no strategy, just good negotiation skills.

My Favorite Board Game
Fun to play: This is one of the most fun board games I have ever played, and that's saying a lot. There are a lot of different options depending on the player count. This is the sort of game where if you had two sets you could double your player count and it would still be a very enjoyable quick game. I love being the sheriff and playing mind games with everybody. Get your poker face on!
