I have several MH stands that fall apart or have the clip slide freely up and down the upright, but these replacement stands snap together solidly and the clip part is very snug on the upright! Once you position it at a specific height, it's not going to move. In addition, the bases are larger than the MH stands by quite a bit. This makes them more sturdy, but also means you can't place your dolls as close together, so keep that in mind if you are trying to display them in a limited space. The upright is about 1/4" shorter on these replacement stands, but it still fits Marisol Coxi the bigfoot doll. The clip itself is larger than the MH clip, so it doesn't hold the dolls as tightly but I find that to be a plus, especially if they're wearing layers of clothing. The clips also seem more flexible which is good, because we've broken a few MH stands. The only negative I can report is that one of the bases of one of the stands came slightly warped.
