Throw some in your range bag.
Works great but at 50 yards is barely visible, wish it were brighter.

Does not work for the Ruger LCP MAX .380
It did not work on the Ruger LCP Max .380. Every time I got my Viridian green dot optic aligned then removed the bore sight and place it back in, the optic dot was off. This happened every single time I aligned the dots, removed the bore sight then re-inserted the bore sight and way off. I even removed the LCP's extractor thinking that perhaps it was the extractor causing the misalignment but it was not. The bore sight did not fit snug in the barrel as well. Perhaps this bore sighter works for larger .380 but not for the LCP Max. Item returned.

Works great. Well made. Comes with batteries. Relatively inexpensive. Probably will last me for years. I actually used it in a .460 S & W Magnum revolver to adjust the red-dot sight that’s on it.

I have tried many things and this worked the best. Fits perfectly in the barrel, easy to use, saves buying ammo and you don't have to wait for the barrel to cool down. Used at night as the Lazer is easier to see, and is point on. Would highly recommend.
