The mitts and pot holders work well, they do the job! I feel safe from the heat when putting something into the oven and vice versa. The inside of the mitts do feel a little undone and there's some small holes where cotton comes out of, but I'm not upset about it because they weren't expensive like other sets.

the mitts aren't even insulated. I thought the whole purpose of pot holders was to keep you from getting burned. It didn't quite work that way with these mitts. They're okay if you double them over, but not if you actually wear them as mitts

This set is just what I needed. I like the blue color. What a bargain.

On the plus side, these are cheap and attractive and soft enough to achieve a good grip. On the negative side, they are not fit for purpose. I tried to pick up a pan that had been in the oven and am now suffering a major burn – more painful and pernicious than any I have felt before from a "kitchen accident," – Except this WASN'T a kitchen accident! I was wearing what I thought would be "protection." NOT SO! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! (I would add a photo, but I put a blister bandage on my hand as soon as possible, so there's not much to see. However, it still hurts like crazy!

Very nice feeling. Withstands up to about 350 before I start to feel heat.
