I enjoy ebooks on music and guitar playing...which I like to do but am not good at. This book was well written and does address the issues a guitar person should know about and is pretty complete. I found great value in this book and not an overload of info no guitar player would encounter. I will refer back to this one

I wouldn't say this is the "only" guitar book you'll ever need - but I would say it's probably the best I've ever seen. I reach for it every time I practice. The explanations are clear, and Marc Schonbrun writes in a way that keeps you interested. I also have his Everything series book on reading music, which is excellent as well. Definitely worth your time and money.

Received quickly. Ordered this for my grandson who is a beginner guitarist. He said it is very helpful.

I originally checked this out at my library and liked the pages of scales in every key so much that I bought one. Large section of chords. Just wish it went a little deeper on music theory. And it would be nice if there was more on fingering arpeggios. But I use the book a lot and it has been worth the purchase.

This started out good for a beginner, but a few pages in, it just got chaotic and busy. There were dozens of pages of chords. Seemed like filler to make the book thick. Also, the thing that killed it most was the tiny print. The further into the book, the less readable it became.

My grandson had taken guitar lessons for several years but stopped playing for a few years. He talked of getting back into playing and I made him a gift of book. He loves the book. He feels it's a great remedial help and a refresher of some lessons forgotten.

Easy to read and very informative. Lots of info weather you are a beginner or advanced guitar player. Price is right.
