Easy fit
Used these to replace the lift gate struts on our 2012 Kia Sorento SX. Swapout took 15 minutes and the lift gate now works like new. Video instructions are available online and are a great help for novices.

So Easy!
This literally took all of 5 minutes to replace both pistons on the rear lift gate of our 2013 Kia Sorento. Just needed a flat tip screwdriver and someone to hold up lift gate. If I ever run across this issue again, I now have an excellent solution. Thanks again.

Initially worried...
I'm a 62 year old female and was initially worried that I would not be able to replace these myself. The supplier video was useless (a demo for front hood struts) and no instructions in the box. I watched a You Tube video applicable to my vehicle and was able to replace both within 10 minutes. I used an extension pole to hold up my rear door which worked perfectly. Just make sure to use a flat head screwdriver narrow enough to fit in the slot and push up to slide the thingy "metal band". If I can do it anyone can! Woohoo, my dad would be so proud!!! ;) Next project flush radiator!
