I was a faithful Tide user for years. I used it on our regular laundry and used another brand just for my workout clothes. Recently though, I started having issues with skin allergies that I ended up having to see a doctor for. This is not something I've ever had to deal with before and although it's not as bad as some people get, it's still bothersome. My doctor recommended some allergy meds and a specific lotion for flare ups and also said I may want to look into products geared towards sensitive skin. While searching for laundry detergent, I came across this. I am familiar with Arm & Hammer and haven't heard anything negative. I decided to order it. It arrived unscathed. On my day off, I did a full day of laundry, including all the clothes that were in the hamper as well as bedding. Everything came out looking, feeling and smelling clean. I don't use fabric softener or fabric sheets due to the amount of athletic clothing we have. I use wood dryer balls instead. Our clothes were soft and free of fragrances. There are no dyes, perfumes and it's hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested. You get a 144.5 fluid ounce bottle (approx. 107 loads) for the current listing price of $9.48, which is way cheaper than our regular brand and it cleans just as well. It's gentle on my skin while still taking care of tough stains so I don't feel the need to use a separate detergent on workout clothes. It has now become our laundry brand. I have used Armor n Hammer Laundry detergent for many years. Leaves clothes smelling fresh n clean. My skin is very sensitive, so its no harmful chemicals.

The Arm & Hammer detergent was promply delivered plus came nicely wrapped so it wouldn't leak. No complaints here.

This product really is scent-free and gentle. I have extremely sensitive skin and was bothered by TideFree, the detergent I formerly used.For a while I tried paper detergent strips. However, they are not effective on stains and they seem to leave a lot of residue in cloth. Also, the detergent coats your fingers when you tear the strips. It is hard to rinse off.I read many reports about which detergents were best for people with allergies, and this consistently ranked near the top. All in all, it's the best laundry product I've used to date.
