Hanson 12008 1" Rd Hex Plain Die Stock for Tap Die Extraction

This handle for 1" round or hex dies is a heavy duty handle. No comparison to the three tap and die kits I have that came with handles.

Has a nice weight to it. The black paint barely resistant to scratches. Kind of small, but a good size for thread maintenance or repair.

The tool is everything is claims to be. Made out of quality materials and seems strong enough for anything I intend to use it for. It made threading the tool rest for my Grizzly wet stone sharpener a piece of cake.

Works as intended, but I still haven't gotten the plastic wrap to come off of all of it.

It holds the threading die securely. I have used it many times without any problems.

I used for 1/4” threads on non-hardened steel. It’s more than solid enough and would feel comfortable recommending it for 3/8th threads. Good value.
