the holders are great but the R8 collet is junk unusable.
the holders are great the R8 collet does not go all the way into the spindle. however, the R8 collet does have the inner shoulder machined down, but the taper is too wide, or too long. I think it's too wide and closes before it can fully be pulled into the spindle.

Trash components
The r8 collet threading is incorrect, I tried to run a tap thru it, but the draw bar stripped out right away. The collet is also too long. So the TTS holders contact the collet not the spindle nose.Stay clear of this product.The holders seem okay, no taper on them so very hard to install.Save your time, buy from a real supplier.

It ok for the price
These are good for how cheap they are. One thing to note is that the 3/4 r8 collet is not cut flat like shown in the picture. It is a standard 3/4 r8 collet.

R8 COLLET HAS WRONG THREAD
The thread on the R8 collet it not correct! Will not work with a standard drawbar.

I'm pretty happy with these collet chucks. Good quality. I have a power drawbar on my bridge mill and I am transitioning to these being my tool holder of choice. This has considerably speeded up tool changes. I do mostly aluminum so I'm not stressing them too hard. These are a cost-effective piece of gear.

Poor Quality Control
**EDIT** 3 STARS FROM 1 - the collet chucks are fine and within a few thou. The 3/4 R8 collet itself on the other hand is garbage. Used the collets I had on hand and they are fine. If possible just look for the collet chucks by themselves and source a better collet and you should be fine.Don't waste your time. Poor quality with about 15 thou (.015) off center from the mill shank. Do yourself a favor and buy the good ones, these don't even come close.

Three for the price of one.
These seem to be about same run out as the older Tormach holders I have. Not perfect but neither are my cheap ER collets, I can get the combos to 0.0005" with a few tries. Also these are shorter than the others so that is nice. I have not tried the R8 that came with the set.

R8 to TTS adaptor is the wrong length.
The collets are great, but the adaptor from R8 to the TTS is too long and has a different taper. The extra length and taper issuse renders the whole system useless from a toolset perspective. The adaptor is .184 inch to long.I'll keep it and maybe grind it later. I had to order the real deal to get any work done.
