A step up from the others
Well, let me tell you, this is my fourth pen, and let's be real, losing them is just a never-ending money drain, am I right? But hey, I finally got my hands on this gem, and I couldn't be happier! I love that it works like a charm for both my phone and iPad. Okay, full disclosure, I've mostly been using it for my iPad, but it's nice to have the option for my phone if I ever need it. It's like having a trusty sidekick in my bag at all times! I do wish the magnet on all these pens were a little stronger, but I will definitely be repurchasing when I lose this one.

so far so good
The media could not be loaded. this makes digital art without an ipad much easier. if i get an ipad later on, i’ll still be able to use it. it’s not too heavy, light or thick. hopefully it lasts!

Blue mode iPad Pro 2020 does nothing and tip came off- read review
I returned this-for the ai stylus and here is why: Firstly, It is the most accurate stylus from Adonit I have tried of theirs over the years and it worked good enough on both iPhone and iPad, but has some big drawbacks including malfunctioning parts and even the vague and confusing marketing of the the Neo line is poor to say the least. If it worked as advertised, it would be good for a non artist who has an iPad and iPhone that are not top of the line. The reason is that they added a magnet so it can attach to the iPad. This is both great and absurd depending upon what you own and plan to use your devices for. I already have the Apple Pencil and just need a stylus for iPhone but you can’t use the built in magnet at the same time obviously so there is no place to attach this on my iPhone. If there was, I would have kept it. A business person would probably be able to use this to replace Apple Pencil. I have ordered the AI voice stylus which at least offers the recording also. I’ll have the same problem of where to store it so I’m getting a case.I wrote the company and the response was not at all what I was asking but just someone telling me verbatim from the vague marketing how it was supposed to work? I asked why the blue mode didn’t work on my iPad with the palm rejection and they said “yes, it works” lol.My last recent Note 3 was is ok but is very inconsistent. I had just lost it again due to it having no clip or a way to attach it to something. I was not interested in the note 4 or any other until I read about the Neo duo.The biggest overall problem they have is that they and others have not been able to produce the perfect stylus for anyone who needs all the features of the Apple Pencil - AND work accurately on an iPhone. I was happy to read about the Neo duo and try it out.I knew right away that this would only work for non artists as their is no pressure sensitivity or tilt, which is a huge deal.So basically, the Neo duo did work on both iPhone and iPad Pro 2020 in green mode and by pressing the on button again a blue light came on and was supposed to work on just the iPad Pro but it did nothing. Also, there is a screw on tip that comes off to replace the actual writing tip. This was suddenly missing after a few days but luckily I found it by accident vacuuming! It must have been very loose when I received it, so make sure to tighten it right out of the box!I wish apple would just add iPhone capabilities to a new pencil as it would solve all this!Oh btw, the person who wrote back to me from Adonit also mentioned that they don’t recommend using it with iPhone 13max pro due to it having a different screw type altogether! I have this phone and it worked pretty well on it but for typing don’t list the stylus tip off the keyboard- use the sliding version otherwise yes, it does miss the letters often- or it could be my hand /eye coordination??

Meh.
I didn’t particularly care for this stylus. It has some issues with latency but other than that writes fine and connects to the iPad just fine. The change in writing modes is a great feature that I enjoyed using however it does sometimes skip whilst writing with it.I personally found a stylus that works better, is cheaper, and wirelessly charges. It’s a good option if you don’t care about the wireless charging and like to writing mode switch.

Doesn’t Register on iOS
The device is sporadic. You’ll be lucky if you get it to work beyond 20 seconds at a time. Very high price for such a lack of reliability.
