I didnt want to spend $$$ on an apple pen of I didn't like it or wasn't able to figure out procreate. I've been a samsung user for years, so I love a pen feature. When I got my iPad for work, I wanted something that would make editing easier. This pen is fantastic. Syncs up immediately with a touch of a button and magnetically stays on my iPad. I love it.

I actually ordered this as a backup for my apple pen... so I can't say they're the same quality, but if they were, apple would be SOL on selling those pens. This works fine in a pinch and I'm glad I got it!

The pen is actually a very good pen for those that are going to be doing basic work. If you are going to be doing more advanced work then you should probably upgrade but for the money it is defiantly worth it.

Item works perfectly with my iPad for work

I got a little over a year of use out of this; however, the pencil started coming loose on the inside after about six months of very light use. You have to push the stylus very hard to get the pencil back together, and then it didn’t always want to turn on or write. I just bought the Apple Pencil and it works WAY better with my iPad. If I had it to do over again, I would’ve just saved up and paid more and gotten the real thing in the very beginning.

This pen works great. No complaints. Battery lasts pretty long too. You have to charge it via USB C. I have no complaints.

Für die Benutzung des Adonit Neo stehen auf meinem iPad Pro 11“ die Zeichnenprogramme Tayasui und Adobe Fresco, beide in der kostenlosen Version zur Verfügung.Zum dem Stift selber muss nun nichts mehr hinzugefügt werden, da schon (fast) alles gesagt wurde. Wie funktioniert er aber auf dem o.e. iPad?1. Wird er senkrecht auf das Display gesetzt, passiert zunächst mal nichts. Erst wenn er leicht gekippt wird, dann zeichnet er gem. der Pinselauswahl.Ob es an der Spitze liegen könnte? Vorausschauend von Adonit, dass zwei Ersatzspitzen mitgeliefert werden. Aber der Austausch brachte keine Veränderung.2. Ärgerlicher ist hingegen, wie sich der Stift bei der Handballenerkennung verhält. Ruht die Hand während des Zeichnens auf dem Display, können keine durchgehenden Striche gezogen werden. Die Linien sind streckenweise unterbrochen oder fangen mit einem Punkt an, obwohl der Stylus nicht abgesetzt wurde.Dieses Phänomen verschwindet, wenn die Hand nicht das Display berührt.3. Ganz seltsam wird es, wenn abwechselnd mit Adobe und Tayasui gearbeitet wird. Unter Letzterem wird z.B. bei Pinselauswahl „Bleistift“ die Form komplett verändert, als würde der Bleistift nur an seiner Längskante über das Papier gezogen werden.Auch Aquarell- bzw. Wasserfarbenpinsel haben ein anderes Aussehen, als jenes mit Gummispitzen-Stylus gezeichnet.Nun erhebt sich die Frage, was ist nicht genau in Ordnung: iPad, Adonit Neo oder die beiden Apps?Wird Adobe Fresco gelöscht, verschwindet zwar das Problem mit Pinselformen, aber das mit der Handballenerkennung bleibt.Abschließende Bemerkung: Die oben beschriebenen Probleme treten auch bei Adobe Fresco auf.Das Bild zeigt links Adonit rechts Hama Stylus mit Gumminoppenspitz

It ok for the price. Well actually based on the quality it’s quite overpriced imo.You don’t get any of the official pro pen features but for basic use this one does the job as expected.My complaint is its weight and in hand feel. It’s so incredibly light it feels well cheap when in use. I’ve owned other pens from Adonit and have not had this issue. Maybe they cut back on materials to save money / increase profits but the way it feels in the hand is more like a $15 - $20 CDN Chinese knockoff than a quality third party pen offering.I haven’t decided if I’m going to keep it yet but I think I’ll be returning it. There’s no reason to pay a premium for this 3rd party pen if the quality is no better than other 3rd party pens from generic Chinese companies that cost less than 1/2 as much.I hope you found this review useful.
