I was amazed at how great the high-grade version of these cymbals sounded. It's obviously a different sound than normal cymbals, but it works perfectly well for many scenarios. The volume is a fantastic compromise between quiet and "too quiet." The feel is also excellent on every cymbal.

If you’re are looking for a low volume kit that will drive around 40-50% of regular cymbals volume, but still have a real sound, this is the way to go. Those cymbals sound great for what they’re supposed to do. They’re great for practice and even to play at small venues or churches, where regular cymbals might be too loud.They’re also thin and deliver a brighter sound. I was surprised with the quality and durability of these cymbals at this price range. Totally recommend it.

I think they're more like 50%Quieter. I like em though but I don't live in an apartment so not sure they'll work for that. High quality and great price!

I used it for signatures but my son tried them and sound nice its more flat then what it looks you almost can not feel the lines and dots

Drummer of 30+ years. Toured, session work, and teacher. These are cost effective to the L80. You get more cymbals, they sound great, and are durable. I used these with low volume mesh drum heads and the Yamaha EAD 10 for low volume practicing. I play in a cover band and have to prative a lot of songs. These make the family happy.
