Hydralyte Effervescent Electrolyte Oral Hydration Tablets, Berry, 20 Count Tube

As a person with a ileostomy, I lose more salt and minerals than the average normal person. So, I need more that just boring plain old water. After getting a little sick and tired of Gatorade everyday, I decided to buy Hydralyte and it does work wonders if you're sweating and have output at the same time. I'll eventually get a little dehydrated and tired after losing so much salt and electrolytes from my body from intense activity like playing video games or from walking in the heat. Gatorade has a lot of sugar in each bottle and can give me sugar crash after drinking a lot. Which is one of the downsides and their flavors are more artificial. They still work, but too much sugar. After some research and looking up ostomate blogs, like those who write personal blogs about their daily life with their stoma (ileostomy). I am glad to find this life saving product, which is Hydralyte that is recommended from the ostomate who blogged about it after saying water alone doesn't cut it. The taste is light and crisp, it's not heavy and can absorb into your body quickly after drinking it. The tablets are pretty big and won't go inside most water bottles. So, you've to pour the water into a cup and place two tablets and let them fully dissolve after it is done fizzling. Hydralyte wakes me up and helps cure my crash, light dehydration, and fatigue hangovers more than Gatorade alone. I highly recommend this product to anyone who doesn't like drinking plain water or Gatorade all day and wants a alternative. Also, to those who've physical medical conditions like ileostomy, colostomy, and other medical conditions that can dehydrate you. Also, it is very useful for travel when you can't carry large amounts of Gatorade or any other Sports drink. I need to buy more.

Great flavor and easy to sip when really sick, nauseated, and dehydrated. The tablet is a little chunky, so I break the tablet in half before I add it to water so it dissolves faster.

I bought these to hydrate while undergoing infusions in a hospital setting and while traveling. I was told that it was of paramount importance to do so in order to avoid headaches afterwards and wanted something effective and portable. This fits that bill quite nicely. However, it just doesn't taste good. It leaves a "mediciney" aftertaste, and doesn't remind me of berries at all. I replaced half of the tap water with coconut water and that made it much better. I did use it all, but won't be buying it again.

Bought this not knowing what to expect. Love that it is effervescent. Also the flavor is not bad, its not great but I give it 5 stars bc compared to alot of other formulas I have tried this is better. 2 tabs def hydrates you well. I use this at the gym, or if you are having a few alcohol drinks, chug a glass of this (2 tablets) in between and it will reduce any hangover, or fatigue. Affordable too.

Check the ingredient deck and you will see only sodium and potassium. Other electrolyte replacers are better.

I have always been that adult who drinks pedialyte so when I received a free sample of hydralyte at a tailgate a couple months ago, I thought nothing of it and just gave it a try. Let's just say after trying this I will never go back to anything else! I drink Hydralyte whenever I feel I need it which is usually before bed, after a workout, after a night out of drinking, or if I'm just feeling like it! It helps give you that extra boost, and it tastes good enough to drink comfortably (I've tried the orange and berry flavor, berry is my preferred). You feel so much better after a glass of this! I highly recommend!

This is the best electrolyte product I have found so far and has become something I use regularly. The packaging mostly discusses using it during illness, but I most often use it when I've been working outside in summer, have a hard workout, or have a headache from forgetting to eat or drink water. The berry flavor is good and it doesn't upset my stomach like some other brands I've tried. I wish the tablets dissolved in ice water more thoroughly without stirring or shaking, but that is a minor issue for having an on-the-go option.

These taste horrible on its own. If you purchase try adding them to your juice instead of water. I’m sure they work but taste like poison! Gonna add it to my crystal light and see if it’s tolerable.
