It’s very gentle. Detangles nicely.

I love this brush. I mean I really love it. It does not rip my hair out, no static, feels good on my scalp and makes my hair shiny and soft. I like this better than my mason Pearson brush. I will be purchasing another for my mom.

I bought this brush based on the reviews, so maybe I just received a bad one. The brush is soft, but prickly at the same time. I cannot see how it would detangle hair, which is what it says its for. The brush I received made a really strange noise when I used it, unlike any other brush I have. It was kind of a whooshing noise. Perhaps this brush was I have several great brushes in different sizes, Mason Pearson, Kent, etc. None of them make this type of noise. Perhaps this brush was improperly made. I do not recommend this brush.

The brush does not get any tangles out of my hair. It does feel nice on my scalp but I hate that I have to use another brush to get out all the tangles before using this brush.

This brush is good for hair extensions, as it brushes gently the top layer of hair and gradually works its way through all layers. It doesn't catch hair extensions, so no tugging that when using other types of brushes always happens. It's easy on one's hair. I would recommend. It's a good solid brush.

I can see why this won an Allure best in beauty award. My hair is smooth and shiny after using. When I use it regularly at night i can easily extend my wash an extra day. Like all boar bristle brushes, this is not a good detangling brush and it does require that medium to thick hair be brushed in sections. I use a detangling brush first, then section my hair.
