I love this necklace!! I purchased it so I could have my favorite essential oil scents with me wherever I go, and specifically I needed it for an upcoming 5 hour exam I had to take, so I had something to keep me calm and centered. The two extra charms are lovely, and I love that there are several pads to use for different scents. They're very absorbant and the smell lasts for days and days. I've gotten so many compliments on it, and most people think there is a stone in there, depending on the color pad I have in. It had a nice weight, and perfect size. It is very sturdy, too. You could use it with regular perfume, I imagine, and avoid having it wear off with sweat, or change it's smell according to your body chemistry. This keeps it pure and right up close so you can smell it! I looked at several before I bought this one and I'm so glad I did! I will say, since the smell doesn't wear off as quickly as it would on your skin, you don't need a lot. The first pad I used I overdid it a little and the smell was overwhelming! I took that one out and wiped out the charm, and tried another, and it's now perfect! I included some pics, and I'm no photographer, so you can see the design close up and also see the length and relative size. The chain is adjustable. I've got an orange pad in there now, and it looks different, but still beautiful, with the different colors.

I just LOVE IT!! This diffuser is really gorgeous. I ordered the silver, originally I was deciding between the rose and silver. It is a bit smaller than another diffuser necklace I purchased and I feel this one is just a perfect size. It is definitely well built. No problems with the hinge nor the eyelet where the chain goes through. This was a concern of mine on another brand diffuser I purchased. The design on the back of the diffuser is really pretty also. It actually became a conversation piece at work. The two added pieces that are also nice. I really like that you have choices in many colors of the pads (other diffusers didn't have many or just white and you need to buy more, so an added cost) and this makes it easy for me to do an instant change to a calming scent I need at the end of the day vs a pick me up scent at the start of my day. Another thing I am doing now, I don't wear my perfume on my wrists/neck any longer, I use one of the pads. This diffuser did cost a bit more than the other diffusers, however, I did decide to take a chance because of the quality that I saw online and the additional pads that are included. The shipments packaging concerned me at it was delivered in a soft envelope and the necklace was in a baggie in a fabric pouch. The pouch is a nice addition, I use it to carry my other pads that have other scents, I place each scented pad in individual ziplock type baggies, I purchased these little ziplock type baggies at a bead store. They are quite small and very inexpensive.

A few folks in my office are extremely allergic to scents, so I wanted something so I could experience essential oils without "polluting" the whole office with a traditional diffuser. It works perfectly! I've even talked to my coworkers with scent sensitivities who say they can't smell it at all.I've worn it most days for the past 6 months with no tarnishing, wear, or visible chips, and my skin hasn't turned weird colors from it. Well made, fashionable, and beautiful.This wouldn't be good for scenting an entire room, even a little cubicle-- just the wearer. While it sort of works not being on your skin (from a thumbtack on the wall, perhaps), the scent isn't as strong, either because of the increased distance or because there's no body heat to release the scent.Another caveat-- and this is probably just operator error-- I tried to write on each felt pad which scent I had used it for. Unfortunately the sharpie ink bled right through to the other side and looks unsightly now. Turns out you don't need to label because the felt pads hold their scent pretty well, even in a drawer.

This necklace as a necklace is great. The pendant is weighty, solid, beautifully made and appears to be a good value for the price. The chain and clasp also appear to be durable. I've had this item for about two weeks and thoroughly enjoy the look and the feel of this necklace. The construction of the pendant is super; the design on the front is appealing. Once the insert is enclosed in the pendant, you will not have essential oils having direct contact with your skin -- that's a very good thing as many, many essential oils can be harmful if directly applied undiluted to the skin. I bought this necklace after buying the bracelet version and was thoroughly pleased with its construction and value for price.As an essential oil diffuser for aromatherapy, which is my primary reason for the purchase of this necklace, the necklace leaves much to be desired and I am not exactly certain as to the reason, though I have ideas. I think there is a conceptual design flaw, even as the pendant itself is beautiful to look at.So, placing drops of essential oils on the disks is easy and straightforward, as is inserting the disk into the pendant. From there, the scent of the essential oil is barely noticeable unless you put the pendant directly under your nose to smell. This is the disappointment. I've used three inserts with three different essential oils (mandarin orange, vanilla, and lemon) and cannot smell the oils emanating from the pendant unless I take the pendant centimeters from my nose. So, as a diffuser, this necklace is a fail. (I bought this necklace AFTER buying the identical version of jewelry in bracelet form and couldn't smell the essential oils from the bracelet pendant. I though that if I had a pendant closer to my nose than on a bracelet, I would enjoy the aromatherapy!)I think the reason for this is that there is no active disbursement of the essential oils from the disk and therefore, you (meaning I) cannot detect the essential oil on the disk. With a room diffuser, the machine is atomizing the essential oils with the water and pushing the scent out of the device and into the room. With an oil warmer, the oils are heated and emanate from the burner as a gas. From the pendant, there is no movement of air, heat or ions to carry the essential oil out of the disk. The oils are staying on the disk and remain unnoticeable. Aromatherapy is not happening with this necklace or its companion bracelet.
