Handmade damascus steel blade folding knife. Blade length under 3 inches. Legal to carry.1644

I am a metalwork lover worked as blacksmith ( never made Damascus steel) However I find this knife, the most beautiful, comfortable,strong,and sturdy,piece of created artwork, I have EVER owned. These problems I have seen complained about?. Well I simply don't agree with them. 1 being the rust ???? IT DOES SAY. " DAMASCUS STEEL. NOT .. STAINLESS STEEL. IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT METAL ? DAMASCUS WILL RUST. And it does say DAMASCUS STEEL. You shouldask Google to explain this stuff to you ( As will many tools if not treated right) The leather pouch it whst it shouldn't live in . Let the air get to it. Finally not holding edge ? Again it's respecting the tool. I do whittling. I also use for opening these new packets that are idiot,,proof. To hold the edge ? I find keep it oiled and regularly stropped. Sharpen on whetsones twicea year. If there are what you thunk are a problem? Then send iy bsck. These ARE quality knives. Mine still cuts paper Also good in .emergency to be able to smash window cut seat belt, if an accident with upturned car and someone trapped. I use my knives often with NO violence displayed or anger. I am comfortable with police if they stop me. As said is so attractive, I am captivated by the at least 3 methods used to create patterns in this one. I do love it . AND THST IS AFTER I SPENT THE £120. Once again tge old saying comes into effect. " ya pays ya money ya take your chance. You get what you vosy for. Tell the man from the boys by price of their toys . I bought another a few weeks back. I loved so much again. But I gave it to my son in Canada. Finally I put some "care instructions for caring for such steel. Is a traditional old method . I believe "Saladin " had a sword made for him out of Damascus. That's going back to the crusades. A fair while back . Look after it and if you pass that info on down through your family, When the time comes you can pass it down and the next person will know How to treat it. Lovely knife, I did change the bone handle to wood but great knife!

This is a lovely little knife, legal to carry but the blade holds open firmly making it useful for different types of tasks. The edge is well ground with no roughness and it's razor sharp. The blade is very thick and while sometimes that can be a disadvantage in a knife, this one still manages to do the tasks that I'd usually use a thinner blade for. All in all a lovely addition to my ever growing collection, but definitely the one that spends the most time in my pocket. Well worth the money. Update: while I still feel that all the things above are true, I have to add that for "Damascus" steel which is supposed to be extremely hard, this knife will lose its edge remarkably easily. I have 440 knives that fare better than this blade. It's a shame too, because it's a lovely tool.

Really disappointing to see that after I used the knife for 2 days just to cut and open plastic open simple boxes the knife show's significant rusts on the blade both side. I don’t recommend buying it especially for the value .

I got a very well made knife with a nice design and very sharp blade and a well sown sheath to go with it.

Everything about this knife is quality, the free gift I received with it is also great quality. The only issue is that through very little use, one of the screws has sheared off.. leaving the blade with movement.. disappointing..

Got this but i was talking to the police about it and they said we would arrest somone if they had it on them. So you you may be arrested even though it's uk friendly. I'd like to add to this iv now used it 3 times & it's faulty so iv downed to a 2 star the bone handle was loose on trying to tighten it i noticed the Alan key scre w was cross threaded & would not tighten actually poor quality for the price a blade should be usable for a long time not 3 times
