Easy to install. Turned check engine light off.

So my 2001 impala 3.4 suddenly had a check engine light. I went to have it read and it gave me the P0102, which meant a MAF sensor code. I tried cleaning the old one and still got the code. So I seen this one , seen that it was much cheaper but the others had success and went on a limb and bought it. I installed it, reset my code and drove it. It was fine for a couple days and then the code came back on.So I'm thinking to myself, "great , I'm a sucker for believing an aftermarket part was going to work, I even had mechanic buddies say never to do that. So I assumed it was a loss and was going to attempt to send it back for a return. I put the old one back in and dealt with the code issue, although it was making my car act weird.But I then watched a video of how to test a MAF and see if it was good or not so I figured what the hell and tried an experiment. I attached the plug to the old one and tested the electrical voltage at the connectors. The old one failed and didn't register. So I tried this new one and low and behold it was registering just fine. So I repeat the process again just to eliminate the fact of human error. But alas I ended up with the same exact results. I also read to drive it up to 100 miles for the car to accept the new sensor data. So I reinstalled the new one , of course 2 days later the code comes back on. But I made myself just give it a week, which I would easily drive the 100 miles.To my surprise about 50 miles later, I turn on my car and the engine light was gone and the car was driving flawlessly. It has been a little over 3 months now and I have had no issues with it at all. So do yourself a favor if you need a MAF, this one will work just give it time for the car to let the new values lock in and you will be just fine.

I’m in awe!!! After checking Lordco, Napa and Auto zone( not in Canada, Only in USA) for this thing decided to go with this one. Got it in 3 days and installed in few minutes. Needs only one flat and one Phillips screwdriver for the clamps. It’s exactly like the original on my Isuzu Rodeo. And boy does it work. Engine runs like a charm, doesn’t stutter or stall , just like new! But do yourself a favour and clean throughout the inside of the big hose on your engine and the Air Filter compartment. Maybe replace the air filter also while you’re at it. Mine was full of dust, sand even small gravel! The cleaning took longer than pushing this in place. I’m really proud of myself doing it myself after some mechanic told me to wait 3 weeks till he has time. But the part is really worth !!

Took a gamble on this part as I didn't want to pay twice to three times as much for the OEM part. MAF sensor came faulty and immediately my ECU threw codes at me again. Engine hiccups at idle, under load, on the highway, you name it. Go to the junkyard and pull a MAF sensor off an old vehicle. Basically the same gamble.
