Scrabble Game Board Game Table Game

a family member and I decided to play Scrabble 'long distance' ...she had the family Scrabble game circa 1950's and I had none. I could have spent a lot more money for fancier Scrabble games...however, this game is just like the one we used many years ago and I am happy with it....wooden chips and all !

Favorite past time, especially with snow days!

It's like the one from 40 years ago. Have a dictionary near to see if your word actually exists. No cell phones!

When I play with the six year old we only make 3 letter words. We play so he can see both racks and I can help fin a word.

Good way to spend time with aging parent, who is now having memory problems. Helps them to "think". My 82 yr old mother did quite well actually, considering her memory lapsing, and she really enjoyed herself!

Basic Scrabble. All you need to get started. Attractive box and is great for gifting. I will continue to use for housewarming or other gift occasions.

The only thing I didnt like is the thing that holds the letters my old game had wood planks the once tht came with this one were a cheap plastic but gets the job done
