I love that this was a full story unlike other books on this subject which only end up being short stories or a scene or two, accompanied by pain or humiliation. I loved Leo and how he mostly kept himself apart from the herd until he found his perfect hucow Pet, then he became the strong possessive Dominant with Meggie. He also acted like a Daddy Dom when he finally brought her into the house, and bathed and cuddled and held her while she slept, but then constantly watched her when she was with the herd. Meggie was the perfect sub hucow- sweet, submissive, and almost innocent. Being a redhead I expected her to be a little sassy but because of her cring-worthy crime (I cringed every time it was mentioned and couldn't imagine being in her shoes) I can understand her guilt-ridden attitude.The whole being on all fours and eating grass with the herd, and not talking around the men, was strange and like animal/pet play and not really my thing, but it worked for this story. I guess you could say that there are multiple fetishes in this book. The only one that wasn't was hardcore D/s punishment play with the main characters anyway, which was fine with me. I bet in Cassie and Brandon's story there will be though. ;D I totally recommend this book, and want to read more about the other characters in this story.

Don't ask me how I stumbled upon this, I don't want to talk about it. What I will talk about is how genuinely surprised I am that this was kind of good. It's not a masterpiece, and I am far from the target audience, but this could have been really bad so the fact that's not is honestly pretty impressive.Content aside (because it's weird as all h*ll and requires a lot of suspension of disbelief) This is a wall crafted story. It's written well, decently edited, and the characters feel real and have full arcs. I understand the motivations and I liked how Maggie (spelled with an a because with an e is dumb) comes to realize that she's not a bad person and learns to make the best of what is her punishment. Just because they're in prison doesn't mean they have to be miserable or mistreated. Notes some people should be jotting down.I don't know if I can call this a romance. It's much more erotica with a hint of romance, something I did not realize my downloaded it. If you're a fan of erotica and you like when books explore less common kink in a way that is both respectful and ethical (as long as you suspend your disbelief), you might really enjoy this. Personally, I'm not a fan of erotica or MF books but I didn't have an issue with the kink and I can appreciate a well crafted story.

I had a well thought out review and app refreshed and gone. So, I will have to keep it simple. 3.5✨ spice level was 2🌶️.Sexual assault to an inmate before transferring to a sex slave punishment is how this book kicks off. So, that is your trigger warning for the start. This is a bdsm kink lifestyle writing of an owner/pet dynamic. NMK, but I can respect other lifestyle dynamics. That said, for all the self loathing that was going on for the MFC, she sure didn't mind being offered a pet position immediately using the mindless sex as a way to justify her punishment since she has no choice in it. The MMC picked her because he knew a life of a well cared for hucow would be the way to help redeem her. That only works if you treat the damage and screwing her until she is mindless doesn't fix that, but apparently that is good enough here. It was a weird mix of otherworldly ideals and bdsm kink and I struggled a bit with the suspended reality of this particular story. I found myself more interested in the drama between Brandon and Cassie which let me know I wasn't enjoying this one as much.One part that also kept pulling me from the story was repeating the same phrases. It was almost like a mental tick mark of, there is that phrase again.If you aren't into master/slave owner/pet kink, this book might not be for you.

I love Golden Angel, she’s as lovely a person as she is a talented writer. I also love kinky reads. I’m that kind of reader, though, surprisingly, I never explored the world of Hucow before. I picked this up thinking it was going to be a quick, deliciously naughty read and I got that, but I also got so much more.This story is about redemption. Margaret has a beautiful character arc which reminds us that we are not defined by our past. That we can overcome our mistakes and thrive—finding acceptance and happiness beyond our wildest dreams.I love a protective, firm hero and Leo was just what Margaret needed. These two are sweet together as well as scorching hot. I’m a hucow fan and ain’t ashamed about it. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Thank you Sinister Ange for giving me what I needed without me even knowing I needed it!

looooove hucow stuff, and the world that was built for me in this world was exceptional!!!!!! this author clearly knows exactly what makes hucow tick, and delivers on basically every tenet. if you are not into hucow stuff, i don’t think this would be enjoyable, but if you are—or if you want to find out if you are!—i would probably suggest this as a top tier recommendation!!!

Where she will be used for her milking services.This book was hot and unique. But also super sweet.Leo is super caring and attentive with a very dirty mouth.

I really loved this dual POV, third person story about a hucow. Kind of an interesting concept, it was mainly spicy but I enjoyed that a lot.There wasn't that much story but it is er0tica.Meggie-mine was the cutest nickname. I can see why he liked it so much.

Sometimes I want just want to read a naughty, filthy, erotic story and this one fit the bill perfectly. Even with my smut I still demand good writing, a decent plot and fleshed out characters and Sinistre Ange didn't fail to deliver. She found the perfect balance of plot and steam, scattering hot, erotic scenes with a story that allows us to get to know both MC's.There is some pretty decent world building, I did really get a feel of the immediate environment surrounding the characters, along with a decent background set-up. Meggie and Leo were believable, likeable and they definitely drew me into the story. Yes I was reading this mainly for the sex, but I quickly found myself caring about this pair as well as several side characters. The plot isn't terribly intricate but it's enough to make this an enjoyable read.Even if the hucow kink doesn't sound appealing to you, this is so much more than that. The majority of the hucow elements are during the more sexual moments and the author writes them in a very sensual and appealing way. I personally felt as though the focus was mainly on the mental aspects of domination and submission. If you like your reads to be kinky then I really would recommend trying this. It's a lightweight but very hot read.

If you are into this particular k!no or if you’re curious this is quite the book! I actually loved the writing style, there was a plot so wasn’t straight out sm#t. I will be reading the next books.

I enjoyed this more than I expected I would.The story was sweet, if not a little strange. I loved how much the characters seemed to gravitate to each other. And how obsessive Leo was from day one.Solid 4 stars.Super spicy so don’t burn yourself!

I really enjoyed this first book, it's a bit different from the normal kinky story lines. I am looking forward to reading book 2.
