The plastic feels sturdy and does not easily bend. The brass is machined well and the product looks high quality. If you want to place an item in your chamber to immediately identify zero live ammunition is in your weapon this is your tool. Garret also offers another option that goes through the entire barrel. It requires weapon disassembly. This item does not require disassembly. Simply rack your slide and insert this red chamber flag. Release and you’re good to go.

Fits my VP9's very well. Best part is that they don"t "stick out" sideways or upward but are still very visible. Well made. Easy to use. $$ compared to some others but worth it.
