After I returned this product (see previous review below) I was amazed to be contacted by the manufacturer un-solicited. They said they suspected my product was damaged in shipping and offered to make it good. I was totally amazed. The replacement came and they were right. I connected to my wifi in minutes and the product worked perfectly. Thank you Astromart!Spent hours trying various ways to connect to my wifi. I tried following the HomeKit way, no luck. Reinstalled the app and tried using the VOCO cloud and still no luck. I attempted with two different wifi systems I have and again no method would discover the light strip. The light strip itself came on strong and bright but without a connection I could do nothing with it. Sorry as it looked like a nice system. I had no choice but to return it. I didn't try the adhesive strip as was waiting to install until I had tested it. I will try a different brand.Update, after I returned this product the manufacture did contact me to attempt to correct the problem but it was to late as I had ordered from another company. I do wish their documentation had been better both in the package and on their website. Still good they tried.

These lights are great for not having to use a “big light” in a room. They are very flexible and the clamps make them easy to shape and hang.The Vocolink app easily connects to Apple HomeKit, Alexa, or Hey Google Setups as shown. It is very easy to adjust color/brightness from either the Apple HomeKit app or Vocolink app. Easy access with widget in Control Center.

I bought two of the led light strips. Both kept losing connection constantly and had to be powered off and on. Using them in Apple HomeKit was not possible as they constantly were disconnected, very disappointing. In addition one of them came off the ceiling as well and had to be hold on by clips. I would not buy them again.

Not as bright as it should be. The brackets are cheap and the double sided tape doesn’t work. But they are easy to use. Fun to have with many options. I bought Govee lights for outside. Only reason I got these were for for Siri access. But it’s ok.

Stopped working after 5 months. Only part of the light strip is working. I reached out to Vocolinc for warranty info and still waiting to hear back.UPDATE: They sent me a replacement. Great Customer service!

I ordered 2 sets, and the adhesive was awful! On the first string, the adhesive separated from light strip as I removed the protective cover! On the second set, the adhesive failed to grip the vertical side of my porch awning, falling down before I could even put away my ladder! It only struck when I broke out the Nashua 357 duct tape!As for the light itself, the default setting is to control just the first 5 meter section! The second section will light up white, with no means to control power or color! In the app, you must activate “extension mode” in their app for it to work! Using these on a shelf system attached to the bottom of the top shelf, routed down to the next shelf, and then pulled across. Each space is a work area and the light is more than substantial. Used all the include adhesive / screwed-in clips and after a few days, they appear to be holding up, even when hanging the light vertically.Integration with my existing HomeKit system was extremely easy and now I have this light triggered by a motion sensor. Really impressed with the cost and quality of this light. May add more to other applications throughout my house.

I spent a lot of time and effort to make sure I installed these in a way that they would last and not fall down or look bad on my house.After less than a month I have multiple strips not working properly. All together I installed 8 strips. I made sure to buy metal mounting brackets that screwed into the house and then stick the strips to those brackets and add a transparent cover on top. That way if the adhesive ever gave out the strips wouldn’t fall down. After getting all the brackets installed and sticking the strips to the brackets everything worked perfectly for about 2 weeks. Since then each strip has a problem. Some just have a LED light or two that are stuck on some pink color. I can change the strip to some other color and the rest will change but not matter what color I choose these specific led dots will remain pink. I have one strip that won’t respond to the controller either through the app, HomeKit, or the button on the wire from the strip to the plug. This strip remains on 100% of the time unless I unplug the power source, it does not change color or turn off through any other way. I have another strip that is in extension mode so one of the strips on that plug works perfectly the other attached to it will not respond or work at all. I am extremely disappointed in these because they worked great for two weeks so I was really excited about them. Since then it’s been nothing but headaches. I am going to remove and hopefully find a different brand I can put on the mounting brackets I took so much time installing.

This was a gift for my niece and she loves them. They were easy to put up and have lasted so far a week. They seem like the adhesive might give out though. Overall satisfied with this.

The lights are nice and bright, but you will see hot spots, a diffuser would be helpful.The protective paper protecting the adhesive is a little difficult to separate and initially the 2 sided tape separated from the light strip.The app sucks. Scheduling doesn't allow you to use all the effects, just the 5 or so effect presets or a single static colour. Connecting the lights to a smart home system like Alexa only allows for basic single colour functionality and overrides whatever you set in the vocolinc app.The preset effects in the app are useless or are just weird. The 'flow' preset seems to be the only decent one.The 'colorful' effects presets are also poorly implented with only a very basic amount of customization (transition interval, and brightness)The segment control is cool but no effects can can be applied, so only a static non changing colour can be in each segment. Segments are big and should be smaller for better customization and control.If you are expecting ARGB like what PCs can do with led strips and argb fans, prepare to be disppointed.Edit: dropping down to 1 star (from 2) due to one led being stuck red.

Pros: They are very bright! Works with Alexa and Apple HomeKit (which allows you to integrate into Home Assistant btw! Customer service were great and answered my questions quickly and professionally! Overall, they are great lights, especially with the integration functionality!

Livraison telle que prévue. Le problème avec cette compagnie, c'est qu'elle requiert une connexion wifi/routeur/internet, ce que je n'avais pas remarqué. Donc ça ne marche pas sans cette connexion. Or j'avais prévu d'utiliser ce ruban lumineux dans un endroit reculé où je n'avais pas cette connexion. Je l'ai donc installé à mon logement où j'ai cette connexion et le tout fonctionne à merveille. Seul problème, ça s'est mis à décoller peu de temps après quand il s'est mis à faire chaud. Outre la faiblesse du ruban collant, le problème vient du fait que le ruban lumineux est lourd en raison du revêtement de surface en silicone pour le protéger des intempéries. Pour une utilisation intérieure, ça n'a pas sa raison d'être et vaut mieux opter pour un modèle plus léger. Alors j'ai dû reprendre l'installation en installant des bouts de ruban 3M rouge à +/- 450 mm c/c et ça tient le coup. Apparemment que la compagnie aurait réglé ce problème de décollage mais c'est à vérifier.
