Q: Since these containers can withstand temps from (-32 degrees F to 158 degrees F) I'd assume they are dishwasher safe?

So I put mine in the dishwasher and the plastic bent slightly but there was no shrinkage. I would only do top rack.

Q: I wish they would have come with instructions as to which foods should be stored with open vents, which with closed vents. Can you help?

I believe that salad begs are closed and fruits are open.

Q: Is it onlyavaialable in a set of 3? I need more of the smaller sizes
