Perfect for my 2000 Honda Civic
Discovering somebody had side-swiped my 2000 Honda Civic 2-door coupe and broken the entire driver side mirror assembly (and run off) really put a real damper on my day, to say the least. Learning the auto body shop would charge hundreds of dollars in repairs to custom paint and install a factory replacement made me fell a whole lot worse and made no sense considering the age and value of the car. This Dorman mirror assembly completely saved the day. It looks and works great and cost a fraction of what I would have paid for a professional repair. I suspect that for most persons installation will be a snap -- it is secured to the door with 3 nuts and a wire assembly for the power motor clips onto it, that should be it. Things got a bit more complicated for me because a tweeter pod got in the way of accessing the 3 nuts, so I needed to remove the door panel and unclip and remove the tweeter. Still for me this was a lifesaver.
