This is different from all the gravity fed filters. Water from the faucet is pressure filtered through a solid block of carbon in about a minute. Each filter can handle many, many gallons of water, even well beyond the warning indicator. My wife and I have enjoyed this system for over a decade! There is a bit of inconvenience connecting the pitcher to the faucet, strong hands are needed.

This has been so good for me! They were talking about lead in the water in the town I live in just one too many times. A neighbor who works for a tech company in Silicon Valley as a water engineer or some such thing recommended this water filtration system. It is easy to use and does an excellent job. Even my ice cubes are clear now! It fits most faucets (I have a very old home and had to get a new kitchen faucet - now it fits!). It is kind of expensive (to me - I am on a small fixed income) to use as I go through at least four pitchers a day, but if you need safe drinking water, this is the way to go.

As long as your faucet is compatible with one of the Clear2O adapters, this is the best and lowest cost solution to improving the quality of your water at home. Water tastes great, and Consumer Reports testing proves the effectiveness of the filter. You would have to pay many times more to top the results you will get from these filters. The indicator changes from green to red with filter replacement is needed, and it only takes a few seconds to install the new filter -- then fill the pitcher twice to flush out the filter. Much cheaper than carrying in bottled water. Huge benefit for low, low cost!!!

I like this system very much, as it fills quickly, and is out of the way when not in use. This is a nice price for these :)My wife likes less the need to connect up the accessory hose for refills. It can get difficult, but when I put a little vegetable oil with a q-tip and apply to the faucet adaptor, and the male end of the accessory hose, things slip together much easier again, making the connection easy and more secure.

Great product but was very surprised to find it merely packed in envelope that was barely padded and not protective enough. Needs to be packed properly for shipping. Luckily this time the filters were not damaged.

this item is an inexpensive alternative to a built-in filtration system. The taste of the water is quite good, and it is extremely simple to use. Replacement of the filters is quick and easy.

I have hard water and all the other crap that's in town tap water and this filter has worked great, the water tastes great and i like that its solid carbon not pieces like they used to be and how other filters are. they last a while as well
