This book has pretty good ways of explaining pharmaceutical calls. Honestly the calls are all pretty simple but if you struggle with math in general this has good insight and good practice problems.

This book was worth it. I sold it to an underclassman--bad move. Buy this (new, used, w/e) and keep it friends.

It looked exactly as depicted. It wasn't a new book but fairly new. Wasn't torn or dirty either. Very happy with the purchase.

I had to buy this book for pharmaceutical school. There are online copies you could illegally download, but I prefer to have the physical thing in my hands when I work on math problems. It helps me personally. However, this book is awful. The examples provided are rarely clear, sufficient or adequate in order to understand the material. There have been typos and completely incorrect answers and errors, and this is the 14th edition! My dean has told me that this is actually the best book available for pharmaceutical calculations, and that makes me incredibly disappointed. Maybe they feel like they don't need to try to produce an adequate book if they are the only ones in the market. Either way, don't buy this unless you have to. And even then, consider not buying it.It did have one significantly positive quality. Like many of these textbooks, there are problems at the end of the chapter. This one gives you answers for all of them, not just the odd questions. It was useful to see if you're doing the work correctly. It just wasn't always 100% accurate.
