I bought this 1" wide light block tape to make my bedroom dark at night so I can sleep better. The tape is black and very effective at blocking light from various devices, such as chargers, power strips, routers, etc. It sticks well and does not leave any residue or damage. However, I discovered that light can still bleed through thin plastic near the light source, so I ended up wrapping extension cords with a lot of tape to stop all the light. This was a bit of a hassle, but it worked. The tape is also easy to cut and apply, and it comes in a generous length. I highly recommend this tape to anyone who needs to block light from their devices.

This tape blocks 100% of light and my struggle has ended, I don’t have to stay up all night endlessly worrying about all the light in my house. Now I just need to find a good product to block the 5G signals they are using to control us all. Tape film is really flexible and adheres great. My only complaint so far is getting the plastic wrap off the outside of the roll, it’s difficult to unwrap. The backing of the tape is pretty easy to remove so the packaging is a fairly minor flaw. 10 out of 5 would buy agin!

Totally blocks out offensive light. A little difficult to take off and reposition but keeps its adhesion. Really, really worth it, too. Those little blue/green lights disturb your sleep - even if you think they don't.

Not too sticky & blocks light well.

The tape is easy to use, it blocks lights off my electronics and adhered great. I had to remove it after a while and it didn't leave any residue. I used it for small areas and had to cut the tape to size. I handled it with clean hands and tweezers to avoid ruining the sticky side.

Used it and it worked great. But cannot remove it, I tried to take it off and it leaves behind a horrible residue that goo gone and a razor blade could remove from a glass surface. Buy it if you plan on leaving the tape on forever, otherwise find a different product

Needs multiple layers to get blackout effect. But achievable

Works great. I DIYed it first but still had light shining through. Finally bought this roll of tape and thought “it’s just black tape, WTH…” but it really does block out those annoyingly bright lights. For us it was the Woozoo fan. That thing is like it’s own light show. But no more. Definitely recommend.

For some reason my 3D printer tape around the screen protector started to bubble and separate. I was able to reseal the protector to avoid light escaping and ruining my 3D Prints. The roll is 2in wide which is more than I needed but that was all that was available. The tape is easily cut to size and worked out great.

Really impressed with this. No light gets through at all. Works great to cover up those small pesky lights on devices when trying to black out my room for sleep. It also flexes well on rounded corners. I would have preferred a much smaller roll as I only needed a bit so works out expensive for what I actually need. Otherwise great product.

Good price. Good length. Good tape. Good stickiness. Just good.

This tape does exactly what I needed, blocks out all the little lights from electronics in my bedroom. It sticks well and makes a big difference in keeping the room dark for better sleep. Simple but really effective.

I taped a heavy blackout curtain to the wall and it has held ok so far, but that’s just a couple of days. The adhesive seems quite strong though although the tape isn’t very long.
