Resistant to paint
I purchased this item to paint my car in the summer. It is cold and paint will crack. I have not used it yet but I like it because to me feels very resistant and durable.....Shipping was fast

Window coverage
This masking is great for painting, particularly for the exterior of houses. I cut it to width (with scissors) taped the head to the window/door, undraped it, cut the bottom and then masked the other 3 sides. It really speeds things up! It's fairly durable, except in a strong windstorm. You can improve wind durability by taping and "X" over the face of the plastic. This product fits in standard hand maskers, but the cutter on the masker does a lousy job bisecting the plastic. I found it easier to just hold the roll itself and use sharp scissors. A good product!!

Great for masking large areas. Paint will flake on second coat!
Product does work well for masking large areas BUT be sure to add a paper mask on the areas where you will be directly spraying. Yes paint will stick to it, but will flake off on your second coat. Fortunately I did a test area for future use and sprayed cured paint with an air blower at low pressure and the paint flaked off and went everywhere. This would have been a mess on my second coat.

Order wrong but it did better then I thought
I thought I ordered the three tape film but this is just the film only that unfolds. When I realized I ordered wrong I was upset at myself. I went ahead and used a roll and after the first section I used I was no longer upset instead I was impressed. The film clinged to the wall and stayed in placed so I didn't have to fight it trying to tape it. Definitely a shocker and definitely impressed.

Works for it’s purpose
You have to cut to desired length.It opens up into several layers and doubles in width.It does cling to things and to itself.Easy to remove when finished.I used to cover things up in my jeep when I put down a lining spray and bed liner .
