Bosch Cordless Grass Trimmer EasyGrassCut 18V-230 (1x Battery, 18 Volt System, Cutting Diameter: 23 cm, in Carton Packaging)

I have a lot of Bosch 18V equipment and this is the latest addition. I have only used it once to trim grass round pots and edge lawns etc but it made easy work of this. I like the adjustable metal guard (not sure if it is meant to be adjustable but that is what I did) as it controls the height when doing lawn edging so as not to consume too much cord thrashing away at stones, paths, slabs etc. So far very impressed as it does everything I needed it to do. My only small gripe is the battery that comes with the unit has a different charger connection. I can use my older (not that old) batteries on the strimmer but the new battery needs a different charger. It means I need to keep 2 chargers or not use the new battery. Its not the end of the world but interchangeable parts should be interchangeable anywhere, just a bit annoying. Its a great little unit, lightweight and easy to use and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of purchasing one.

I am teetering on the edge between 3 and 4 stars. It is hard to give it 3 when it does what it says and they tell you straight out it runs on one 18v battery. I am just used to a homebase model that has two batteries and 2 strings with blade option. My problem is that my batteries aren't charging anymore and I can't find replacements for it. So I decided to buy a new grass trimmer that has available batteries. I also wanted to choose a well known brand of grass trimmers so here I am. It takes a bit longer to cut through my grass with the Bosch. but to be fair my yard is overgrown. I do like the smaller design and that you don't have to keep fiddling with it or changing heads. It is very straightforward. It is also lightweight I actually enjoy using grass trimmers rather than a lawnmower because they are so much lighter. So I had fun with this. I just never should have let my grass get this tall lol.

Powerful, lightweight, easy to use. Cuts the lawn edges before mowing efficiently.. The battery lasts long enough for a few uses before I need to charge it. My garden grass area is 75ft by 90ft.

Excellent item. Cuts all the borders well especially round small bushes and trees . The guard makes it easy to see where the strimmer line is so no cutting the wrong thing. All in all very happy customer

Very pleased with this strimmer, very light , quick to charge and long lasting power. Suitable for small garden with light strimming needs. Ideal for edging , quick & easy.

Ideal on the edges of a suburban garden, around trees if all there is only grass and 'soft' weeds growing, however it will not cope with areas of ground that have been left for a month or two, won't cope with tall nettles easily or other weeds whose stems are becoming woody. I do like the automatic line feed and it is lightweight. The battery is easy to remove from the handle for charging.

I bought this to replace my black and Decker mains strimmer as the B&D line kept breaking and I thought a battery one would be easier to use. Well sadly it does not have anywhere near the same power and is only suitable for light work. I have just returned the battery and charger to Bosch as the battery is not being charged, so either the charger or battery are faulty. This is after 4 months and as the summer has been dry it’s only been used 5 or 6 times. Incidentally the line still frequently breaks on this model I should have perhaps kept with the old strimmer which I am now using while the Bosch is being repaired. I would not recommend this model.

Wenn ich in Deutschland ein Bosch Rasentrimmer bestelle , gehe ich davon aus ,dass das Akkuladegerät in unserer Steckdose passt aber leider nicht, müsste mir noch einen Adapter zulegen, keine gute Lösung....

BOSCH quality tool. Works as advertised. I love it and would but it again.

J'avais déjà un chargeur Bosch et c'est heureux. Le chargeur livré n'est pas adapté au réseau Français. Pour le reste, un très bon produit.

Came so quick, easy to assemble. Light to use and love the fact it has a battery pack so no wired to trip up on. Cut into corners and sides of walls a treat. Did my whole lawn using only this (small garden) was happy with price too
